There are so many of you here who speak different languages...so i was thinking of making a thread where everyone writes words from their languages and translates them..that would be a great way for us to learn other languages...
I'll start, of you have some words you would like to know, just ask...

1.salut- hello
2.mama- mother
3. tata- father
4. frate/sora- brother/sister
5.mancare- food
6.noapte buna- good night (where noapte means "night" and "buna" means good)
7.prost- stupid
8. lasa-ma in pace- leave me alone
9. buna dimineata- good morning
10.chiloti- underwear

That was all i could think of now...but i'l write more ^^

xDDD FuruChan, that is romanian....my language...and don't try making sentences out of those words or you will end up like a guy i know that said " Am chiloti pe cap" xDDD which means "I have underwar on my head"

What about 'Yo dawg/son'? xD; There are more, but I can't think of any right now. ^^; Oh, but just so you know: How to pronounce words in NY: If a word ends with an 'a', replace it with an 'er'. Examples: Soda-Soder, Pizza=Pizzer.

..Or maybe thats just me. xD

I thought of a couple that are used quite frequently. Don't stone me please:

ya'll- you, you all, her, him, them, anyone that hears it, a group of people who's names are unknown. Like "Ya'll come here" or something like that.

minute- a long time, usually hours, days or weeks. Like, "That's gonna take a minute", or "I been waitin' for a minute." Or longer, like "You been there since Schepp was a pup."

Yeah I know it's English, but some of us use words differently. *runs*
