Hey gus, this isn't the place to tell people what they 'should" be listening to. Everyone has a right to listen to what they want to. You aren't going to change anybody. I started this thread so people could share the music they like.
Sweet Soul Sister, by the Cult.
Blood, Fire, Death, by Bathory. RIP Quorthon.
Trapped Under Ice, by Metallica, from Ride the Lightning( Their best album!!!!! !984) CLIFF BURTON RIP!
Vredesbyrd, by Dimmu Borgir. Completely sung in norweigan.

Tell me about it, Inu! I think she put some slow stuff on her album so the listeners wouldn't suffer from dance overload. I've been her fan ever since Everytime We Touch debuted (sp?) on the radio. By the way, is the NANA opening on a manga drama cd or an anime? I'd love to see the anime if there is one.
Okay Gus, I'll check 'em out. ^_^
My song of the day is Boogie In Your Butt by Eddie Murphy. Yes, Eddie Murphy! He did this little song back in the eighties and it just kills me every time I listen to it. (Put a tree in your butt. Put a b-b-bee in your butt...)

By the way, is the NANA opening on a manga drama cd or an anime? I'd love to see the anime if there is one. Ooh, you didn't know there was an anime? :O! Yeah, it's the opening to it, it just started a few months ago. I haven't really seen it, because i've been reading the manga, my computer hates me, and I have a ton of other series to watch, but I haven't heard any complaints about it. :3; If you want to hear it, look for Rose by Anna Tsuchiya. It's really awesome~ ♥ And the anime is on youtube. ^^ ..Uh. XD I've been listening to pretty much the same stuff...but, Nami Tamaki's new album is really good? 8D; And so is Yumekui by Otsuka Ai... Yay J-pop. D:

Okay, I just heard Rose and it totally has to be my song of the day. It's friggin' awesome! *_* (starstruck) Anna Tsuchiya has a powerful and strong singing voice. I'm now an official Anna Tsuchiya/Nana O. groupie and it's all Inu's fault! XD

Songs for sunday!
-In the desert of set by Therion, Live in Poland. I like this version much better than the recorded version. The guitar player is awesome. He plays sweeping arpeggios during the solo, which wasn't in the recorded version. He plays like Jason Becker. It sounds perfect.
-Concerto, by Cacophony, album-speed metal symphony. Marty Friedman + Jason Becker=WIN. I just wish they didn't have that horrible singer. I think I played this song to my girlfriend and her response was, "You can do that on a guitar!?"
-Victoria's Secret, by Sonata Arctica. LISTEN TO THIS SONG!!! Its really good!
-I'm in love with my car, by Queen, album- A Night at the Opera. Someone needs to make an amv of marco with this song, so says my girlfriend. Great song.
-Take the Time, by Dream Theater. This is a feel good song. If you are into progressive metal.
-Dance the Night Away, by Van Halen, album- Van Halen II. Man I love singing to this song!!!!!I must reveal the story behind David Lee Roth short high pitched scream. They were playing a show in 1978 when a fan rushed on stage and grabbed dave's nuts while he was singing. He let out a high pitched scream. Eddie, and alex van halen stopped in amazement, eddie said, "Dave, what was that!? You have to do that on our new album!!" surely enough they hired a guy who squeezed dave's nuts everytime they need a vocal push out of the window and land on a two foot spike through....I have gone too far. I apologize, but you will never listen to Van Halen, not Van hagar, songs the same ever again! besides this is the only song I can sing halfway decent.
-Mean Street, Van Halen. This song kicks oldschool ass.
-April Ethereal, by Opeth, album- My Arms, Your Hearse. I love this song. Opeth is one of my favorite bands!
-Karma, by Opeth, My arms, your hearse. Best song on the album! (In my opinion at least)

Listened to a lot of music today.
YAY, 45 minute car rides.
Well, either way....
(White Man ) in Hammersmith Palais- The Clash. You just gotta love the Clash.
What Would Brian Boitano Do- From South Park. This song is just brilliant.
Blame Canada- South Park also.
When Ya get Drafted- Dead Kennedys I'm just addicted to this song dunno why
Sub-mission - Sex Pistols. Just...listen to their music.
AND THE MUPPETS. Seriously, the song Can You Picture That is pure genius.

Ha ha! I love What Would Brian Boitano Do. ;D My songs of the day are Cell Block Tango from Chicago and Experimental Film by They Might Be Giants. I'm listening to the former right now. It sends chills up my spine every time I hear it. The latter makes me laugh because I've worked on an indie film before and know what an experimental film is.

-Beer drinkers, Hell raisers, by ZZ Top. Straight-up Rock & Roll!!
-Freedom isn't free, by DVDA/ Trey Parker. This song is played very well. I'm blasting it right now.
-Nightrain, by Guns 'n'roses. Good song from appetite for destruction.
-Rocket Queen, by G'n'R. Best song on Appetite for Destruction.
-With strength I burn, by Emperor.
-Rising force, by Yngwie, 'NUFF SAID!
-The Sails of Charon, Covered by Testament, originally by the Scorpions. Great cover. Alex skildnecht is awesome on guitar!

- You're Still the One, by the Doobie Brothers. This song makes me think about my girlfriend. It reminds me how good she makes me feel. The song is a little cheesy but its meaningful. "Still the one who makes me laugh. Still the one, who's my better half." I am such a cheesy romantic. The guitars are really nice in this song.
-Anthem, by Rush. This is one of my favorite Rush songs. Its based on Anthem, by Ayn Rand. "Yes, it was for me, not you, I came to write this song."
-Still...you turn me on, by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Greg Lake=Max's favorite singer.
-The Romantic Warrior, by Return to Forever. This is such a beautiful song. 12 min of intstrumental beauty. Al dimeola, Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea, Lenny White=four of the best musicians of all time.

Here are mine for today. Star Jewel [Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (Touin Rina's song)] I don't know why I like it, but I do. It just speaks to me. Peanut Butter Jelly Time (all versions) Remember the dancing banana phenomenon back in the early 2000's? Well, I recently discovered that there are two remixes.

Ooh, creepy song you say? This spikes my interests! (reply to Gus) And regarding "Happy Material"... WHICH VERSION?! (there are like a kajillion) Anyways, onto my list: Lemon Demon - Hyakugojyuuichi 2003----- One of the BEST forms of self-promotion for Niel Cicierega's animutation flash Hyakugojyuuichi. Lemon Demon is also famous for creating "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny" and "eBaum's World Dot Com" (from the website ebaumsworldsucks.com) Donavon Frankenreiter - Lovely Day----- Straight from the soundtrack of the best movie ever, Snakes on a Plane, it's a feel good song with a good follow up, which is also my next song. Michael Franti & Spearhead - Hey Now Now----- This is for all of you reggae fans out there, an excellent follow up to the previous song, and besides, it's from the greatest movie ever made! Who can argue?
