I haven't watched Shaman King on tv ever since 4Kids licensed it but I took my chances and decided to sit down and watch it yesterday morning. To my suprise, I didn't find it that bad (except for the changing of the BGM, some name changes, some move renaming, the OP and ED changed). The voice actors were okay, normal mainframe dub voices, but it's okay. To my suprise, I heard Horohoro call Yoh a 'jackass'. It startled me because I never heard a mainframe anime use language, especially 4Kids. I was suprised they would slip that in. But maybe it's a sign that they will release Shaman King uncut on DVD? I would really like this. Or maybe i'm just going crazy.

Haha, the 'jackass' thing caught me off guard too.
And no, you're not going crazy. I'm sure all, if not most, of us have a little hope that they'll release uncut SK. Then again, we have to be realistic... this IS 4kids. -.-;

The odd thing was that in the original scene, Yoh and Horohoro weren't even insulting each other 0_o .
Still, I think the only reason they got away with it was because Trey made it obvious he was just talking about the animal. Still... what an odd adition right?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. HoroHoro meant 'jackass' as in donkey, but still. A word's a word. xD
