Shaman King Theme Song

I started having questions about this awhile ago, and I'd like to know if I'm going crazy or something...is it just me or is the voice actor for Yoh singing part of the dub theme song?? Am I hearing things? Listen to it closely... and if I'm right, I think that would be really funny...considering Megumi Hayashibara (did i spell that right?), seiyuu for Anna in japanese, sings most of the original shaman king songs.

Now that I think about it, it DOES sound kinda like Yoh...it's still a crappy song, though. I'd take Oversoul over that any day.

Hate to say it, but the dub song is growing on me...it's not spectacular, but it's not bad either...and it hasn't gotten stale with me like some intros.

Oversoul is an awesome song, and I listen to the MP3 alot at work...but I don't think the mood of the song matches up with Shaman King...too upbeat maybe?

What I find ironic is that the Japanese theme song was about the power of teamwork being more powerful than violence The dub seems to turn that around and is about being more powerful than everyone else.

*shrugs* It's still catchy, but oversoul is on my list of top 5 anime songs (it's right up there with key of the Twilight and Wind)

You mean Oversoul or the U.S theme? You can find Oversoul on Lovely's site. The U.S. theme is kept on the FoxBox site, in the 'Tunes' section.

I think the U.S theme is good, the lyrics weren't put in without thought. Oversoul has a completely different feel, but the lyrics for the dubbed do somewhat go with the show.

BTW: Does anyone know where I can donload the dubbed one? You can't from FoxBox

Yeah, but...just because the "focus" of the show is Yoh working to be Shaman King, doesn't mean that it's the main focus. It's deeper than that. Two things that spring to mind are teamwork & friendship. These values come up a fair bit in Shaman King. In fact, becoming Shaman King seems to take a back seat to these a fair bit.
