Yeah, but...just because the "focus" of the show is Yoh working to be Shaman King, doesn't mean that it's the main focus. It's deeper than that. Two things that spring to mind are teamwork & friendship. These values come up a fair bit in Shaman King. In fact, becoming Shaman King seems to take a back seat to these a fair bit. Maybe, but there is also an element of persistance and strength represented in it. Like when it said 'I know what it takes to make it right, and I won't give up the fight' It also brings up destiny, which I think ties in with the paths of life, which are mentioned mentioned by Ryu, Amidamaru and Yoh.

The main focus of the show is Yoh's path to becoming Shaman King. Friendship, Teamwork, and Perseverance are just themes and motifs that show up throughout the story and compliment the story because of it's main focus. A side focus would be Len's path to becoming Shaman King. Coming full circle to what Emiko just mentioned, Fate vs Destiny seems to be another motif that is fluent throughout the series. Most recently Len controlling his own fate vs his family's destiny.

i for one prefer northern lights...i like that song better than oversoul.. this is sorta off-topic...but in one of my sk cds..(shaman king: osorezan revoir au revoir) at the end of the last song if you wait a minute youll start hearing the voice actors talking and acting stupid with their sk voices... but only the ones that were on the cd..because on the cd they act out the manga where yoh and anna meet....its still strange..i couldnt understand them though...they were laughing alot too..and at the end...i think it was either hayashibara megumi or satou yuko (i couldnt tell) was going 'funga fu fu' like ten times... I personally like both oversoul and the dubbed equally.
