I thought Shaman King only ran for 52 episodes? I also doubt that Funimation would air the uncut English adaption of Shaman King on tevelision. Imagine what might happen if they did. The kids who're watching the English edited version of Shaman King would see it listed on the TVGuide Channel or whatever for Funimation's network, then thinking it's the same show they watch on Saturday mornings, will flip the TV to it. The kids will start watching this slightly more mature version of Shaman King and the parents will come into the room while they're watching it. I don't think I even have to explain what happens after this. Then FUNimation would show them the TV-PG rating, duh.

I would definetly be in favor of an un cut Shaman King on Funimation, but I have to agree it does seem far fetched.
I'm not holding my breath for this one, but I promise to pass out if it does! ;D

Then FUNimation would show them the TV-PG rating, duh. Expect kids don't pay much attention to the ratings, do they? Also, they're kids who try to act "cool" by watching a movie or tvshow that's for older audiences when they probably wouldn't be able to handle it.

Those kids probably already have ways of getting their hands on uncut anime if they want it bad enough, With the internet, anythings possible.

If kids were smart enough to use file sharing programs, then I wouldn't worry about them watching uncut anime.

I think that would make it an even bigger disaster, especially since the Cartoon Network is now airing the English edited version of Shaman King.

I don't like the idea cuz then I wouldn't be able to see it as it'd probably be on cable.........for some reason they can't get cable television to my side of the street......o.O
Anyway, my personal bias against it aside, it just doesn't seem at all very likely........*frowns*

I can get cable, but it is so dang expensive. I prefer sattelite myself but my buliding faces the wrong way. . Anyway, while I plan on getting the DVD's sometime in the future, I would like to see it on TV if at all possible. They would probably still have to edit things though. Like Ren's butt. ;D

I'm sure they are going to show every episode.
In the season two trailer they were showing all summer, they show Hao devouring Yoh's soul.
If I'm correct that is pretty late in the series. And besides, showing that in the trailer tells me there is even darker scenes that 4kids will still keep in the dub.
Here's hoping.

OOOOH boy i'd be getting my rocks ready to go busting some windows!!!!! Anyway, they wouldn't show such a huge scene like that and not run the episode. I mean the clip of season two had been running all summer. Anyone who even glanced at SK over the course of the summer would have seen it. Such a clip does not go forgotten.
