Discuss episode 32 here. Both dub and original. Just make sure you mark/warn spoilers, especially if you are talking about the original before the day the dub airs.
Now, considering I haven't finished the episode comparison for episode 31, I haven't had a chance to rewatch episode 32 yet. So, no in depth "original episode" thougths today. HOWEVER... I have a secret (it's not a spoiler)...

....Episode 32 is actually my least favorite episode in the series. I know! I have sinned! But really, this episode never really "clicked" for me. Who knows though, maybe when I watch it again I'll feel differently. This is a very HoroHoro-centric episode, so people who LOVE him should be alright with this episode.
From what I recall about this episode it had a very, "SAVE OUR PLANET!!!!" sort of feel to it. Hence the reason I gave this thread the odd title ^_~ .

Ah, episode 32. What I've been calling the Apollo Replacement Episode for a bit. I'm not gonna say too much, don't want to spoil it (if it ever makes it to Shonen Jump). But, all I'll say is this: Yeah, it's alright, but I like Apollo better.

I think the original title was something like "Horo Horo's Bitter Taste in a Friend", wasn't it? I saw a title like that somewhere, near Chocolove's entry.

*stares at dub title* is it just me? or does 4kids like to make their titles rhyme? anyhoo, i will now tell you why the ending doesnt make sense to me....keep in mind...SPOILERS! and since im not smart enough to figure out how to change the font color, and im too lazy to try to figure it out (even though i get straight A's in computer class...but we use Linux...that damn system is evil! evil i tell you!-ahem- sorry going off topic here..), simply skip the last paragraph if you dont want to be spoiled. plus, sometimes the backround color of the post comes out lighter than the text so nyah. the un-making sense ending! in my perspective... ok...the guys ae planting things (aw how nice) because the forest, well...i wont mention what happened to the forest. so anyways theyre planting things, and that included LYSERG, and hes SMILING about it. switch to scene where ryus being dumb, blah blah blah, switch to next scene! where it shows the guys again planting things...but..O.O where is lyserg? hes not there anymore! so now lyserg is on the side, looking all pissed and inferiority-like. why is this weird? in the last scene he was helping and everything, even smiling about it! and now, like two seconds later hes on the side all angry like he was never helping in the first place...o_0.... and it never showed him walking away or anything, he just like....'poofed' to the side'... ok, people who have seen the episode are probably confused, people who havent and read the spoiler are probably even more confused. you have to see it to get what i mean! ><!! |

a so-so eppy 
not as funny as last week's.
Only a few jokes got me this time
1.Horo-Horo asking if he can eat the animals he sees
Horo-Horo:Hey,Allen.Can I eat that deer?
Allen:Of course not!!
2.Ryu attacking that meat that Horo-Horo had
3.Ren saying "Besides I hate boy bands."after Ryu suggeted singing a song(That was lol) ;D
Besides those things it was a ok so-so eppy. 
P.S:Sorry about your reasearch paper Lovey.But be strong and get those comparsions on the road!

Since everyone else gets to post their woes here:
We got to the part where the new Shaman says, "Your spirit is kinda cute."
"Well your spirit..." SNAP ksshhh...antenna down.
We're currently under wind advisory warnings where we live...
Although everything's working again now, it'll be another 4 months probably before this episode comes back up in the rotation...however it sounds like the episode doesn't further the plot at all from what everyone's saying...

Not the best episode by a long shot, but still good for killing some time. Actually I'd say this is the best cartoon with an envermental message I've ever seen. Largly because it wasn't trying to beat you over the head with a stick about how copertations are evil, and we should all frolic with animals, even the ones that really want to eat us or lay eggs in our skin. It did however show that you need to give back what you take.
And when Rio went after the meat, he reminded me of Eva unit 1.
"Hey how about we split that deer over there?"

your not missing anything Cyber, nothing actually happens in this episode, its all "save the environment!" stuff. ok..just finished seeing the episode....ok so he wasnt smiling...pfft...the quick scene change still confuses me! and was it just me or was tokageru planting things too?! hes a spirit! how the hell.... they gave allen tracy's voice..>< i for one have hated that voice ever since i heard it, i dont know the name of the VA so nyah. this line made me laugh: Yohmei: do you have the 1080 beads? Anna: yes theyre right here in this box. thankyou anna for stating out the obvious! ><! and for some reason they changed ashils name to...aw crap i forgot it! ><! and i heard it like 2 minutes ago! man my memory sucks when it comes to names...who here remembers it..? ... anyways, his original name is Ashil, hes probably haos most annoying lackey! die ashil! ><! oh wait...*cough* and i think he loves hao.. ...really. hah, his dub voice for some reason made me laugh. also, in the last scene, ashil was the one who wanted to fight yoh, hao just told him he wouldnt care if ashil would and i quote ashil "accidentaly kill yoh". and the whole thing len said about boy bands is kinda funny and ironic if you think about the fact he has a british accent XD. and lastly, this is off topic, but i would just like to comment on how cute yoh is when he licks his ice!! X3! ok im done =P oh yea one more thing....ide like to see how 4kids is going to handle the next episode....  |

resurie: it was bassil wasn't it? i think he might just become a runer up with horo horo  they're gonna have to share  yeah this ep was very fillerish...i did like the billy gag and when they were planting trees...it looked so odd that i just had to laugh. but yeah...bassil....  ^^; |

I was never too fond of this episode either... I liked the beginning though. >P
But sadly (somewhat), I missed watching the dub. I had practice this morning so I didn't get a chance to see the differences. (Also missed the OP dub. O.o)

yeah this ep was one that would've been good during a thunderstorm and the power going out...but then bassil would've been lost and i wouldn't have seen him...his japanese name sounds better.
