well treyracer, dont get your hopes up on ashil....because...well i cant say...*cackles* you have to wait for the next episode...thats why i said that i wondered how 4kids was gonna cover up the next episode...

well i'll make sure his legacy lives on! and i was and still am feeling angsty so i went and wrote down the hao and ashil part at the end.
Basil: I've had enough of Yoh's slacking off. Playing with forest sprites, finding lost orecal bells for other shaman, planting trees.
Hao: I think it's time to give him a little shove. That's why I wan't you to be ready, Basil.
Basil: Of course. Im always ready to help out. Im assuming you want me to thin out the ranks of his pathetic team of shaman. Which of course I would be more than happy to do. But the thing is there is always a chance that in the heat of battle, Yog could possibly be eliminated too.
Hao: Basil...
Basil: Of course master, im sorry. hmm, just as friends, right?
Hao: This should light a fire under Yoh.
i don't get the "just as friends" part. makes you think that they are more than just friends ^^;

color=333333 works pretty well for hiding spoilers on the board. color=444444 works perfectly for text boxes that are the lighter color that this particular post itself is in. So far, I've been editing posts with spioiler warnings and just imputing that (the 333333 thing) ^_^;. Hope you guys didn't mind *cough* O.k, I just saw the original episode again tonight and... well, it's still my least favorite in the series. It's not BAD mind you, it just doesn't work well. I think in general that HoroHoro works best as a reactionary character, but in this episode he's seperated from the mian group most of the time soooo.... Oh yeah, LC, the only thing of importance that happened in this episode is that Anna and Manta returned to Izumo (Yoh's family home.) And Anna underwent the purrifying cerimony (sitting under a freezing cold waterfall.) Oh, and Horohoro learned a new attack that utilizes his Ikipasu (I KNOW I spelled that wrong...) Lyserg is grouchy. But that's nothing new ^_~ . (I did like the last part of the episode concerning Lyserg though. KILL THAT TREE XD ! ) Next episode things take a dark turn. To say anything more I would be revealing many spoilers. So, I won't . I will say two things though. 1- NO CLUE how the dub will handle the next episode. 2- Personally, I think Ashil is frikin' cool  . I just love his wicked facial expressions. (Oh, and I THINK I've heard that name in a religous context before but I searched all over the net and I couldn't find it so, maybe I'm wrong.) O.k, slight spoiler, that's already been mentioned but, meh. And it probably WILL be glossed over in the dub so it wouldn't kill you all if you want to see it. Highlight to read ^_^ ! *** Yes, Ashil is in love with Hao. Not that Hao returns that love or anything. I think the fact Ashil loves Hao is another reason I like the kid ^^; .*** EDIT: For the text boxes that are the darker color like Resurie's the color would be color=272A2F . I think 333333 and 444444 are easier to remember though ^^; . |

I thought this episode was a little preachy. Nature this, nature that. Go hug a friggin tree Allen! Ahem, anyway, the part where Yoh licked the ice brought out the screaming 12 year old in me. So cute! And Lyserg....well, that kid needs to be put on suicide watch.

Dude, I've been waiting for this episode since... forever. xD Yeah, it was a little cheesy, but I still like it. Maybe because it's HoroHoro centric. :P
Allen is voiced by Ted Lewis. No mistaking it.
Um, not much else to say today. My brain fell asleep. xD

well that wasnt a BAD episode, needed more Len... i liked the HUNGER IS A SIGN OF WEAKNESS part. lyserg+suicide watch=ehhhh... lyserg+asylum= GOOOD!
however, that ending seen with him and de pendulum was a MAJOR GIVEAWAY that he was gonna join the x-laws someday. i wouldve warned for a spoiler, but in the second season preview, the one where hao's like, sucking yohs soul out, you SEE lyserg in his X LAWS uniform. what a cheep trick.
i HAVE to point out: when manta sticks his finger in the water and it comes out frozen, thats a scientific impossibility. the water would have to be BELOW fezing point, but since its NOT SOLID it cant be. then again, this episode has a LOT of issues. second issue: Allen sais the animals have nothing to fear...its a perfect balance...blahblahblah yak yak.... does that mean there are NO PREDATORS? if so wouldnt that mean the fuzzy woodland creature would grow to much, eat the entire forest of nutrients, then die off? DID THE CREATORS FORGET EVERY BASIC LAW OF REALITY AND PHYSICS? *calms down....after being restrained and put in a strait jacket* and down, darkness's science rant is complete...

i think i saw something that looked like a fox, but not sure.
the one thing i liked in this ep was horo horo's new attack.

O.k, just finished watching the dub of this. First, just to clarify, Allen wasn't against animals killing each other naturally (that's part of the cycle.) He just believes that humans shouldn't be involved in the cycle. Also, while it wasn't mentioned in the dub, amongst the suggestions that Allen made concerning the things humans can do for food, he mentioned that humans should/could raise animals as well. The part in this episode that was most changed was Ashil's short conversation with Hao. Hao hardly spoke at all in that conversation originally... The line "Just as friends" that we all hear, i think is supposed to be "Just HIS freinds" . But yeah, it sounds as "AS" to me too. Made me laugh considering it was Basil saying it. Ashil: Um... soo... let's go out sometime Hao-sama ^_^ ! Hao: Ashil... we've discussed this... Ashil: ...Right, right, we're just friends... .......... damn..... XD Concerning Ashil's name change. Ashil and Basil sound incredibly similar so I don't really care all that much . ....it's obvious that my favorite part of this episode is the Ashil part isn't it ^^; ? Oh, and SKU_Ashil, your fanart is vaugley disturbing XD ... |
