If he had a decent environment growing up (like Horohoro and Yoh had), he probably would have more self-confident, and if... The Marco hate is justified since he is such an ass!
I just coudln't stand watching Lyserg trying to kill Trey.
I know Dessa, it's not all his fault, but if I was Yoh, that boy would have been nursing either a black eye, or broken nose.

I know someone who has lots of Marco Love, it's because of her that I stopped disliking Marco so much ^^; . And, I admitted that he does make things more interesting.
That, and apparently Marco is more fleshed out in the manga.
Oh, and for the record, even though I think Lyserg deserved a hit this episode, I'm also REALLY glad Yoh didn't hit him. That's why I love Yoh ^_^ ! (anything else and it would of been out of character for him.)
