The tiltle of this post is because when I first saw this episode (back in the day) those are the exact words I used *laughs*. So why is this post put up a little later that usual? I've been playing Xenosaga and watching Firefly. Back off. ^_~ Spoilerific thoughts! **** Yeah, it killed me when Lyserg left with the X-laws. I KNOW it was inevitable, but still , it made me cry the first time I saw it ^^;.
Ah, anyhoo. Lots of interesting things here. For one thing, the reason I don't mind the "cliche" of vampires is revealed. The way that Yoh solved the problem. I just liked the clever way certain things were worked out. Lyserg proves that his Shaman powers are actually fairly strong (not his mental state mind you ^^:.)The Lilly5 actually being brave...
Oh, I noticed in the rewatch of this episode that lines are very clearly drawn. This show is now about how a person thinks about things. Black, white, and grey. Black and white being the "main" sides, grey being the "in between". Black=Hao's group (from others perspectives) , White= X-laws (from their own perspective), Grey= Yoh's group. I can sort of see Lyserg's perspective on all this. He never WANTED to be grey/in between. Not to say that being on a "main" side is good for him. Ah well, live and learn Lys....
Predicted things that will be cut. Some (o.k a lot of) crosses, some impaling. The X-Laws wave their guns about quite a lot in this episode (including towards a child at one point), so who knows how the dub will handle that. They've been keeping the guns in so far, so, who knows. The drama of the last scene will be lessened quite a bit due to the "no stabby" rule though. **** Not spoiler stuff (not really anyways.) Oh yeah, and Braveheart plays once again  . It's also interesting to note that Ryu begins calling Lyserg, "Lyserg-chan" in this ep ("chan" having very feminine conotations.) I think this is the only episode Ryu does it though (not sure) ^^;. Ryu's great man XD . -Lovely |

sadly im gonna miss this ep. my sister and i are heading back to nc on sunday, and since im close to lovely, sorta, im guessing that our tv scheduals are the same. im gonna check tomorrow anyways just to see.

I hate this episode!! Not 'cause it's badly done, it's just really sad and it makes me mad.
SPOILERS****This is the episode were I REALLY started to not like Lyserg. I was so mad at him when you went with the x-laws, and the look on Yoh's face, UCK!!! It just kills me inside. And the way he treats Milly, GRRR!!!!! *holds back self from going insane* My dub change thoughts are, pretty much the same as what lovely said. The crosses will all be deleted, and I'm really curious about the guns. I kinda think they will leave them in, but you never know. I'm also interested to see how they handle the last scene, when the Lilly5 are badly hurt and such.
Well, can't wait for tommorrow as always. ^.^

I don't think I've even watched those three new episodes on the DVDs, either... gotta get Mike to watch more... **sniffsniff** this marked the begining of the episodes I didn't pay as much attention to... **sniffsniff** my poor Lyserg-sama... Lovely, I also cried. |

well, i just finished watching it. fast breakdown of my opinions yoh-heroic... brave... the good guy as always... len-the brain... didnt do much but explain and took a wack at boris when he was out of furioku and down. this esp. didnt make him do much or look very good IMO  i mean since all he did was just those two.. i was hoping he gets hot-headed and go 100% furioku and take a wack at the X-laws the ly's- ... like they had a chance, but their bravery did buy some time. boris- poor guy... they said that the X-laws banished his spirit to the netherworlds.... THEY CAN DO THAT? his sacrafice was so touching... *sniff sniff* X-Laws- the perfect example of the extreme behaviors of "religious" values/crusades ect. the only difference between the X-laws and evil is that they are "blinded by the light... not the darkness." which still makes them blind. but hey.. i really like these guys.. THEY HAVE GUNS! THEY KILL KILL KILL! AND THEY HAVE COOL MECHS/ANGELS FOR SPIRITS/ROBOT SPIRITS?! i really like these guys! and HA HA HA HA.. MILY GOT DUMPED... jk bad lyserg ... love the X-laws.. anyway... you know the first group that failed zeke? the clown, loch ness, and captin spirit gang? i bet if boris did live, he just gets intercepted by zeke and died that way... ... wow... the x laws! spoiler* sorry, cant seem to find grey as a color... go down cant wait till i see the one with len fighting the X-laws.. |

Okay there is something I'd like to say right now while this episode is still fresh in my mind.
STUPID STUPID LYSERG!! YOUR ARE SO VERY STUPID!!
Other than that.... Wow. Now THAT is an episode. It had some great action, great drama, comedy, and a few parts that almost made me cry. And I strongly suspect that if they had kept the origenal BGM is would be crying.
The X-laws got to keep there guns.
Poor Lily 5.
X-laws... Your so far in the light that your blind. Go play Tales of Symphonia and see if you can figure out what is truly sacrifice and what is murder.
Those that only see things in Black and White miss a lot of pretty colors like blue, red, purple etc...
I really want to hate the X-Laws, and say they deserve bad things.... But if I did then I would be missing the whole point of Yoh's speech.
Poor Boris.
Notice they kept Jeanne.
Is it just me or did Chocolove/Joco appear in the trailer for next week?
And finnally what I think was the origenal full line of Millys...

Not all of the X-Laws are pedophiles. Meene is actually pretty nice to Lyserg...in a platonic way, you perverts.
Am I the only one who thought Yoh yelled "You dick!" at Boris? The actual line was "That's what you think!" but it took me five rewinds to catch that. Maybe I'm just hoping for cursing on Sat. morning and that's why.
"Destroy me! Destroy me, it's the only way!" Dear god, they really don't like the word "kill", do they? And "the netherworld?" WTF, mates? I swear I've heard the word "hell" used in dub-Yuugiou...ah well, at least it isn't "the shadow realm."
All in all, this episode had some good voice acting, some by-now-obligatory bad dubbing, and holy crap they kept in a guy getting his chest blown through his back. And yes, I'm pretty sure that was Chocolove, too...should he be showing up this early? No, it wasn't just you, Keyblade (if I can call you that), I saw the blood too. Maybe they're leaving more in to make making the uncuts a bit easier or something?
But the $kids 5 aren't dead yet...damn.

This was a good episode. ^_^
Awww, I was kind of looking forward to seeing Ren as a vampire. Darn. It would have been funny, seeing as how he's all mature and serious and stuff...it would be like:
"...Huh? What was I doing just now?"
"Chasing us around, that's what! He really got you, Ren!"
"W-what!? Of course not!"
"Come on! You were flying around like a total zombie trying to kill us!"
"I was not!"
"I was so worried, Ren-sama! ;_;"
"We should run into vampires more often! Hahaha!"
Ahem. ^^;
And poor Milly, too. ;_; Waaah! LYSERG AND MILLY ARE THE BEST COUPLE! X<
The Lilly 5 were great in this episode. ^_^ I really liked all of their scenes, especially when Milly clung onto Lyserg. Bwaaa....and then there was Yoh agreeing to 'destroy' Lyserg and the other three were all "Waaaaah!?"
Can't wait to see next week. I guess we'll be seeing Chocolove and the two band guys of doom. And glowy-eyed Yoh, Horohoro, Ren, and Ryu! I wonder what that's about. o.o;

Well, I didn't ~actually~ see this episode, cause it was on at the same time that the second episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! (which is a very violent episode towards the end).
The only things I saw were the fact that the X-Laws still have their guns, and their Angels still have their Haloes.
They cut the part when Boris stabs... that guy who's now his spirit.
I couldn't see if Boris got stabbed by the X-Laws' angels. >_<
I hate Boris' dub voice.
