Actually in the original that isn't Manta's uncle. And Manta doesn't lie about were he is going. (the whole piano thing was made up) Manta actually tells the guy about Shamans. Also when Manta is running up to the plane, before it's about to take off, Anna makes a comment that they are going to leave without him, if Manta doesn't hurry up, and Manta thinks to himself, "geez, it's my plane" so yeah, the dub changed that part around a bit. I personally don't understand why 4kids thinks it's bad for Manta to be rich. o.0 it just doesn't make since. There ARE ppl with money in the world.

Okay........ I usually cannot stand anything that Lyserg has done recently since he is brainwashed by Marco's rhetoric, but I absolutely could not stand him this week. Just keep reminding yourself that it's marco's brainwashing, not Lyserg himself. Lyserg-sama is very messed up, and marco is just using him... **tries to throw things, but chaos holds her back** chaos: No, Dessa... He's our friend. You can't throw things at him. **Dessa stops, thinks, then proceeds to throw random things at resurie, for no reason** What have I been saying for weeks? marco needs to die... |

Didn't any of you pay attention to what Yoh said? I'm sure Marco has a reason for being the way he is. And thus doesn't deserve to die. Just be slapped around. A lot. Preferably by Yoh or maybe Ren. Rio and Horohoro would be okay too I suppose.

Okay, so maybe marco doesn't deserve to literally die, but he is acting like a real jerk! (I haven't seen the ENTIRE series, so I don't know if he changes later on or anything, my guess is not though)

I have already seen the epilouge so I already know that:
*spoilers Marco and Jeanne live. I don't know about the rest of the X-Laws but I do know that those two are there as well as the Lily 5.
But I can't stand Marco and I have read a few spoilers and have seen Lyserg disrespect Morphine.
It's not the fact that Lyserg left it's how he left. He did compliment Yoh on how strong his convictions are and Yoh was right that Lyserg can be that strong, but Lyserg is just too blinded by his hate for Hao to think about it.

For the love of god. Hao killed his parents. OF COURSE he's going to be blinded by his hatred for the guy!
And think of it this way: Marco is a good deal taller than Lyserg, and probably outweighs him by a great deal. So slapping him is really the least injurious physical thing he could do...and that came out sounding much more wrong than I intended it to.

yeah, I know Hao killed his parents, but it's been nearly 8 years, I doubt his parents would have wanted there little boys life's goal to kill Hao, you'd think he would have at least tried to move on with his life by now, but no, he hasn't, he won't even try.

Yoh would still not go on a bloodthirsty rampage for revenge. I'm sorry Dessa, but Lyserg would have made this decision even if Marco didn't come along. He was destined to leave Yoh's group. He will gain some perspective through what he is about to endure and realize what a life of nothing but revenge will lead him.
He'll see the light eventually. Right?
