No more Fox Box (well, the name anyways :p .)

That came out wrong. I will watch the channel, but not now since I tape One PIece and SK (the only two shows I watch anymore on this channel). I can hear it from the living room as I type this. My son likes the Ninja Turtles and F-Zero.

I saw the logo on the screen and I still say they should at least make it one color of fade it out a bit more. It's too distracting.

That's my only complaint. Haven't seen or heard the commercials yet so I'm still untainted. XD

I agree with Saturn about the credits. >_O When I first saw them, I swear I squinted my eyes. Not only do they go fast, but they're so squished together you cant see anything. >< (Yes, I read the credits, one time I was searching the SK credits for Michael Jackson after I heard Faust's new voice. XD!)

I think I mentioned this already...bah...but that logo on the bottom of the screen distracts you. >_O It's all bright and fruity. I know I looked at it at least 5 times during SK.

Honestly, I actually like how they do their eyecatches and 'what's coming up next' now. The card through that thing that looked suspiciously like a GBA SP annoyed me. And now the SK eyecatch doesn't go "Shaaaammmann Kiinggg!" everytime. ^^ Or did it stop doing that before? ^^;;;

The name doesn't bother me, it's the design of the logo, if they would've done a nicer logo, I wouldn't have cared. ><

Like I said, it's just too distracting. I looked at it again and I noticed that it isn't even faded at all. Ugh, what are we supposed to be watching? Most newtworks put their logos in the corner and that's fine, but most of them at least fade it a bit so you aren't so distracted. And most don't put thier logos in color when displaying them in the corner of the screen. Or just choose one color. Like CLEAR!! XD....*cough

For some reason, the way the credits are listed now are actually EASIER for me to read now than they were before.
I think this has to do with how you read things in general.

Lets forget for a moment that the credits ZOOM by at the speed of light.


For most people, it was probably easier for you to read the credits when it was stretched vertically and placed to the side.
Me? I have an odd tendancy to look at the "base" of things (the bottom of screens) , so that, and the fact that the credits are now stretched horizontally make it easier for me personally to see them.
I realise and understand of course that I am in the minority on this.

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot to mention...

I took a class or two in College about Advertising. I loved it. Mostly because, I TOTALLY advocate messing with the minds of the general public. TOTALLY awesome man. Heh, but that is neither here nor there.
ANYWAYS.
There is a term in advertising called "Brand Name Recognition". Basically, it involves getting people to remember your name. If a commercial is hilarious, but you can't remember WHAT the commercial is trying to sell, or who is selling it... then,... the commercial is considered a failure.
My poiint?
Foxbox is now called "4kids", and basically, they really REALLY need everyone to remember not only that it changed, but they need everyone to remember the new name as well. The key word here is "New".
In other words, the distracting graphic that plays during the shows? Entirely on purpose. Will the graphic be toned down during the shows in the future? Most probably.

Erm...I suppose that makes sense. XD But, I have noticed something. KidsWB's logo used to be in color on the bottom of the screen, then it went transparent. But now it's color again...o_0

I'm making fun of the overeaction to the name change. At the same time, I'm pointing out that Fox has "betrayed" us looooong before this hardly-even fox related name thing XD .

Oh yeah, in case you didn't know, "Who's Your Daddy?" was a reality show on fox that consisted of a woman who grew up in adoption trying to find her real father amongst several actors. Only one being her real dad of course.
The show was taken off the air due to protests and low viewership.

I know I'm posting a little bit late, but oh well. When I first found out the that fox box had changed to 4kids TV I was like Holy S*** then my face went like this Then I calmed down and figured that it was inevitable. I know that 4kids had convtrol over the fox box, but when it was named the fox box, it didn't make me think about all the anime's that 4kids has killed. Now I'm reminded of it every Saturday morning. Wasn't the fox box purchased by 4kids several years ago?

BTW, is "who's your daddy" really the name of the next episode, or is that just something you guys made up. 0.0

Anyhoo, 4kids didn't BUY foxbox, they CREATED it. Fox was finding that their own childrens block wasn't making much money, so they sold the airtime to another company. That being 4kids.
