How many breaks does the US have during SK?

Im just wondering how many commecrical breaks the US has during an epsidoe of Shaman King.

In the UK we have just one break in the middle yet at about the 1/4 and 3/4 marks of the episode it looks almost like there should be another break.

You get a scene were someone will say something, then it will fade out and then fade back in on the same scene, normally with the character saying something thats a slight variation on what they said previosuly

Does this happen because the US has 2-3 breaks during an epsidoe? and is it part of the original Japanese version or something 4kids has added?

Knowing animes, I would say that this is where some of the original breaks took place, or the animators couldn't think of how to get the next scene from a fade-out to look good.

In the Japanese version there is only ONE break for commercals. In the U.S release there is about 4 or more (on the average.) Some of the breaks in the dub are a little akward... It's a bit too much in my opinion, but, ah well. Childrens' t.v DOES mostly exist for the advertising (almost more so than adult t.v.)

Yup, around 3-4 breaks or so. I think in Shaman King, it's three, once after the intro and some scenes play out, commerecial. In the middle for suspense..I guess...commercial...near the end, a one-two minute commercial plays.

Yah...that's about it...

In Japan, yes, one commercial in the middle.

;D In Korea, there aren't any commercials in the middle of a show. Only before the show begins and after the show ends. >3

Here in Nica. (I guess it would count as the spanish part...) the commercial plays only once in the middle like in Japan. I guess it depends from where the show is being dubbed...for example, SK only has one commercial break, since it's the uncut version. But Pokemon (which is on CN here), being the dub, has the commercials where KidsWB has them. One in the middle and the other before the show ends.

Here in Mexico (which is the same version as in Nica, I might aswell say so) there's about two commercial breaks.

I will point out that many shows in Japan do have 3 commercial breaks (I've seen shows recorded straight off of TV, plus IC plays their stuff uncut like this as well). After the OP (before the episode starts) there will be a CB, in the middle, and then before the ED (after the episode ends).

Actually, that's backward... Tenchi was dubbed, and Slayers was subbed.
