Koneecheewa, I am minimantaman!! Would you change a easy and cool name to a wierd name? I have no clue why they changed a name like Manta into a name like Morty. It rimes worty that means WORTS!!! Who would think of a name like that.  |

Yes, it's a bad name change. Sigh............ this thread has no real point, you realize. Except to complain and complain and- well, what's the point? Get used to it. Very sorry for being rude. I'd lock this if I was a mod, but......... I'm not.

I don't support threads made for the specific purpose of argument. There are exceptions to this of course, but this isn't one of them. Manta/Morty is a pretty old issue and I know there has to be something on this board that answers your question. I don't have the patience to find it so I'll just answer with, "4kids has a lot of money. If they want to change Manta to SpongeBob they can! Because they own the rights to!"
I'm locking this thread! If any of the other mods disagree then they can feel free to open it again!
