Meh, okay episode today.

Maybe I just have a dirty mnd, but did anyone find it funny that Karim's oversoul (a buffalo, I believe) was firing shots from the head, and considering where the buffalo head.... *getting beaten to death for saying that*

It seemed weird that Horo was back to fighting with the snowboard in this episode. What happened to the Ikupasi (someone correct me if I spelled that item wrong)?

Heh, the Manta/Opacho bickering continues. And I think Manta is older than Opacho, so he is really being immature....

Strange, never knew Yoh would have the strength to cut off the SoF's arms...

No offense to Pailong and Jun fans, but did they really think they could pass the pillars? Sure Pailong is strong, but they really cannot do much without an oversoul....

SOUL FOOD!!!!!!!!! No seriously, it was an interesting scene to watch. I believe that the original went as slow as the dub did, too, through that scene.

Meh, dub-Anna's scream was okay to me, but the original scream was a lot longer and louder, so it was a bit more emotional.

Yay, the next big battle starts next week....

I have waited sooo long for this eppie~!

-Hao knocked out those birds so fast; when Yoh was battling them, all I could think was, "Wow, Yoh's in some deep shit if he can't beat those birds."
-I liked how Hao make his sword out of SoF
-Yoh got kicked alot in the head with those hard lego boots. Ow.
-I really liked the slow-mo. That scene was amazing!!
-I loved the little gasping noises and the scream Yoh made when Hao had him by he hair.
-Anna's scream was strange-sounding.

So, does Yoh just lie there while the rest attack Hao? How does he get his soul back??

I just watched it and I think it was okay. I don't know. It just was missing something-I can't put my finger on what. I was very quiet during the soul eating scene. At first it seemed teasingly slow, but then I figured that was just for dramatic effect. I guess the others didn't attack because they were in shock? Anna's scream fit the episode, considering all that was changed. It just wasn't that dramatic to me.

Whoa, I hate to bump this thread up but I didn't know where else to put this question. I have watched the last few episodes over and over, and there is one thing from episode 61 that is bothering the CRAP out of me. So I'm wondering if it's just me being neurotic again:

Right before the soul eating climax, Hao says a few words to Yoh then approaches him and grabs a lock of his hair to pull him up to his knees. The first grab shows him pulling at the back of his head, behind his headphones. When the gang rushes in and sees his soul being devoured, his headphones fall off his head and to the ground. What? I shouldn't have noticed that, but I did; so now I'm wondering if I caught that right. And I'm also wondering exactly when I'm going to get a life. *burned and stabbed with a fork*

Ah hearing the Megumi scream was...interesting. It had more of an effect on me when I heard it.
