Hello... I kinda went overboard too XD - Goatse is NOT the kind of picture you want to be looking at! (I.E. it is a Not safe for work pic) Anyways, I know that no TV show is perfect. But I don't understand how Shaman King is marketable like Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is (Yes, Yu-Gi-Oh! did not start out as a "gotta catch em all buy our stuff kind" of series when it started in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 1996 - I.e. cards did not become the staple until later in the series) Sorry if any thing i wrote affended anybody, mabey i did go alittle overboard with that, dont think anything of it, its just my 2 cents |

The asshole probably just hates the show, and he thinks it doesn't live up to others. It's just a rant, sort of the same thing I want to do with Duel Masters.
The guy's an ass who hasn't seen barely anything in the series. I bet he hasn't seen one Japanese episode.
I really don't care, the guy's an ass and he's just stating his idiotic little opinion, rather than a review.
Yu-Gi-Oh rip off my ass, just because it's dubbed by 4Kids doesn't mean it's a damn rip off. What an ass.

Yes. This is one of the most misguided reviews I have seen in a while. How dare he bash digimon. Wargreymon, use your Terra Force and blast that retard to the land of the no longer living.  (I couldn't resisit) I wouldn't take that review too seriously as most peopole who agree with it already had the same opinion of the show and probably weren't swayed by it. There are plenty of INFORMATIVE reviews on the net from people who have actually seen the series and know what it is about. SK, like yugioh has to do with spirits. But even yugioh doesn't really go on about spirits that often. It's mainly about the cards. And that's about where the differences begin and I don't get what is so wrong with Yoh calling a spirit his friend. If you could see ghosts and communicate with them I think you would want them as an ally too.  (In other words, I wouldn't want to be on their bad side) |

I've read this guys reviews on animes. Other ones as well. He hates all animes except Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Lupin 3rd, A Little Snow Faerie Sugar and Big O (which he's rated 5), so far, the biased baka. And there are 19 animes he's done.

SK a YGO rip-off?!?!?!?! I'll believe it when I see it.... oh yeah, I've seen 3 versions of both shows (a few episodes, anyway), and neither one is a rip-off of the other. that guy is an idiot IMO.  |

People like that drove me out of the Yuugioh fandom, I just hope they'll stay far, far away from Shaman King after reading their fellow idiot's "review". (More like biased crock of horse excrement.) So the guy only likes four animes? YYH, Big O, Lupin III, and...something I've never heard of? Holy crap, I think I sat behind him in Geometry last year! My point is...there are a lot of biased, bigoted, small-reproductive-organ-ed idiots out there. I can understand why he likes YYH, because I too have gotten into the spirit of it, no pun intended. But why he can only like 4 animes is a mystery, as I like about... Say 15?

Same here. I've learned just to ignore most reviewers, as my opinion is very different from most of theirs. (Especially in the case of the Scryed manga.) Once you've been through being in the Yuugioh fandom...well, this is nothing compared to the bile people spew about that series. This guy is only one, and we know he's wrong...so why waste energy thinking about him?

Well some critics actually know what they are talking about.
When I read a review by a movie critic about Pokemon the 1st movie, he ripped it to shreds. He probably has never seen anime in his life either.
Know your medium. Don't journey into areas you know nothing about!!
