who reads the shaman king manga?  I really enjoy it. I own all of them, and like the fact that the words are basically exactly the same as the japanese shaman king manga. They don't really change it much (unlike the dub) |

I read it too.
I made a thread on one thing that HAD to be changed (which I don't blame Viz for)
I like how Viz publishes Shaman King and Yu-Gi-Oh! My Yu-Gi-Oh! crazed cousins are into Shonen Jump now.

I read it! I think Viz does a pretty good job with it. They do tone down the language some, but I can live with that.

im way behind in reading the mangas. i'm in the middle of 3 seperate mangas right now. possibly after im done with one manga series, i'll get the rest of shaman king.

I just Read Volume 4 of the Mangas and it's so much better than the TV Show, Silva is so awsome, I wasn't a Silva fan until he appeared in the Manga

I read it, I think Yoh is alot better in the manga then in the 4-kids series

Spoilers: Maybe not for those who is current on manga (Meaning not Viz's)
The Manga is much better than the anime in my opinion...But I still have to get number 30. Er, that isn't by perchance the last Shaman King manga, is it? Ehehehe....I would hate for the series to end but I guess it has to at some rate. But since I haven't gotten number 30 yet, not much to say. I do hope the ending is more satisfying than that of the Anime. So, could anyone tell me if it is or not.
Mmm, Viz is usually famous for 'dumbing down' words which is why I don't really like them, especially after what they did to Hikaru no Go, but I'm not a English dubbed Manga fan, so ignore me if you like.

You mean making the language less intense... Well, the 1st volume of Yu-Gi-Oh! had a lot of obscenities but the language became softer after that. With Hikaru No Go, I will only read it in the Shonen Jump form as that leaves it "uncut" while the graphic novels don't. I read the Manga in Shonen Jump every month and buy the Books and DVD's also
