I haven't read any of the manga and I just finished watching the end of the series and was disappointed with the ending. Does the manga go any further than the end of the anime?

truth be told, i was also kinda disappointed with the ending of the anime of shaman king, considering the fact that the rest of the series was so dam awesome...it was kinda rushed if you ask me...and i was sorta depending on the manga to give me a much better satisfactory ending...
however, if you look around the message board, you'll find the thread named "SOS - save our shaman king" where resurie details the abrupt forced ending of the manga. horrified, i found out that this supposed ending so much worse than the ending of the anime..>_<
but enuff of me talkin, check out that thread, and maybe we all can do something to get a proper ending
^-^

Bah that's stupid. Oh well, so is there anyword on a new series, since the ending of the anime has hinted that the shaman fight is not really over or something like that?

Personally, I've always liked open-ended endings. But what I really, REALLY love is endings with a epilouge ( a "what happened after" sort of thing), and Shaman King anime has an ending epilog that is HALF an episode long! I really loved it. Of course, I realise I'm in the minority.
edit:woops.
