Wasteful time and searches on the internet. >D AHAHAHA! *cough* Sorry, I just swallowed a lot of fudge...without the icecream...O_O Well, I think it's said in the manga somewhere. But I learned it from a Horo site somewhere...sorry, it was a long time ago (before SKU XD), so I don't know the site. ^^;;

Ooh, I have a stroy about a name.
I once heard somewhere that Ren means "humanity" in Chinese. I'm not positive, I'll look into it, but I think that suits him.

Yes, that was in a topic of mine once. Tao Ren derives from "Tao Jen", pronounced "Dao Ren", which means "Way of Human Heartedness". Tao Ren is the Japanese pronounciation of it.

Tao Ren is the Japanese pronounciation of it. *is confused* I thought it was wriiten 'Dao Lian' in romanized Mandarin Chinese, which is what it say in Viz and on a couple of web sites. It's still pronounced 'Dao Ren', or am I completely wrong on this one?

It is "Dao Lian" - I even said so on a thread about Chinese names.
