Any of you played or heard of Golden Sun (1-2)? That is about the best game ever played on GBA. Now if only there was a "Shaman King"-Golden Sun... with atleast the first 4 playable characters: Yoh, Ryo, Trey, Len from the start, and each have their "starting level/story different until they "meet" with the others who then will eventually join your team., and maybe some side quest and missions not in the Manga or Anime series! (made up story parts and quest for extended play!) and though the storyline is similar, your destiny (the character you start with as a main) can be different; hence, if you play as Len, you might be the one who accually defeated Hao. (if you play GS2 before you realize you can have up to 8 players at the end but 4 active in the screen fighting) and of course multi player mode! link to battle, or if on X-box or something, again, 4 can individually play at same time!!! With DS and PSP out, a SK-GS be nice as crap... who needs PS2 or X-box...
ohhh why can there be a game like that >.<
in the meantime, the only good things is SK-Master of Spirits 1-2. and it always YOH YOH YOH... die already :/
sorry for my wish-list rant.
ps. didnt put this in game forum because it isnt a real game im speaking of.

Maybe not a real game, but I moved this to Shaman King.
I've only played Golden Sun, haven't played the sequel....yet. << *stares at emulator on computer screen...*
You heard nothing. :D Call the FBI and I--*shot*
Anyways, you make good points, but I honestly can't see Shaman King as a sort of Golden Sun-esque game. An RPG, of course that could work for mankin, which is basically what you're getting at...o_o

God, I hated Golden Sun.... Cliche' story, mute main character, and finally a puzzle that I just COULDN'T figure out. I gave up on it. I never even bothered with the sequel.
However, since I do love traditional RPG's, I wouldn't mind a Shaman King one. As long as it had a full and original story. I wouldn't want a re-tread of the tv series...

I was hoping for GS-like Shaman King because the current ones does not really fit. Best fit is Master of Spirits 1-2 with a scrolling side to side action game like Castlevania, etc. It has a side quest story line for what i believe. The only RPG Shaman King is indeed turn base, but like many noticed, very "unshamanking" like and a pokemon copy. worst of all IMO, instead of making versions with different "starters" as an option atleast, it sticks with Yoh and only his story line again. The PS version games im not familiar with, but it follows Yoh again. RPG/Action i think.
The reason I say GS like is this: in GS, you don't REALLY have a main character, you end up having 4 in GS 1, and 8 in GS2. You have a "starter" who you dont have a choise, but the story isnt about him, its about everyone.. sort of like the Story of SK. they have more of a multiple main character setting, even if following Yoh (Issac in GS). Its a RPG... which fits the feel of SK in my opinion. The GS lay out is overworld, and fight in turn base "4v4" multi perspective angle which is very unique. Also, notice how well Camelot did several points of graphic, in terms of people, monster, attack graphics, backround, etc. Very good... some stuff does remind me of oversouls.. or heck its possible in such layout. again, its muliti-perspective... it rotates angles based on who is attacking. Another thing that its timing is great.. as in its not that ONE GOES first, then OTHER GOES... it depends on your speed value in GS... which can now be dependent on attack speed value in SK. So the process of spirit unity takes little time (which can be a skill or tactic that makes it faster as you gain exp. in that particular skill or tactic area) as to attacks that may vary in speed depending on who hits first etc. Another thing to notice is "giant oversouls". In GS, im sure you have seen some BIG bosses... remember how the screen zoomed out/back for the boss to show!? same concept can be done to fit Giant oversouls in the 4v4 screen.. course you might have to end up zooming so far that if you compare it with the orignal size of the people.. they might look VERY small... but let the guys making the game decide on how big and stuff to make those graphic part...
but yea.. im dreaming badly :/
Konomi can "copy" GS style if possible... or Camelot can always take up this SK-series. There are many I think who ATLEAST DID want a GS3 which never came out...
SK can fill the hole! so many possibilities and versions and stuff you can put into it! and now we have PSP, DS, and future systems to come... even if this idea is applied to PS2 for sakes of space/size it would take, its possible now.
...
im wrapped in an illusion... also... i wish i had a scanner :/ if i finish my fan art i want to put it up in photobucket and link to forum
but scanner second.. I WANT MY DREAM GAME XD fill my SK addiction...

Soul Fight was pretty awesome in the way of Shaman King games. I could actually see Shaman King as more of an Raising Game..XD; Catch Spirits in Pokeballs. Classic.

Or like Final Fantasy Tactics. Or Advance. Chess on crack=genius. Mankin chess on crack=even better.

Didnt they make a Yu Yu Hakusho game like Final Fantasy Tactics, and it bombed not only beacause the series itself sucked but beacause it was just a big ripoff?
hmmm..Mabye someone should make a romhack of a tactics game.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa!!! Yu Yu Hakusho is A KICK ASS SERIES! Lets get that straight! (at least I like it alot...) Although the second part of the games sucking is true. Especially Dark Tournament. The damn thing was so difficult to control, I found myself thinking "what the f**k!?" every five minutes I played it. And the "Token" mini game is beyond the border of shit-gimmick. Now as far as "Tournament Tactics" goes, never heard alot about it, but I'll have to agree that it DID look very rip-offy...

Ah, of course, well, I didnt mean to present my opinion as fact, but after the 'Ghost Files' season, I't really just lost my intrest. Of course, the fandom makes me want to commit suicide as well.
Dark Tournament, I stayed far away from it, Shounen Jump based games really have dissapointed me in the past, but I'm a sucker for tactics games, so I played Tournament Tactics, and was dissapointed by how much it reminded me of (even though it was an awesome game, and I dont say that all the time, especially about anything released by Square-Enix.) FFTA. I mean, there was really nothing new or innovative about it.
yeah, I need hobbies.

I'd look around Himeyashop or anyplace else that would carry a Doujin game. Though, I cannot confirm the fact of there being one based on Shaman King, sadly. I actually love Doujin games, though not all of them are slashy or pr0ny, some of them are just cute. (Glove on Fight - Love)

My family would ask questions. I might just stick to Apocripha/0, which is mostly fluff. *_*
