But yeah, I think it looks totally wrong for Yoh to be that buff. That costume looks like Yoh on steroids or something.
The Tao Jun one looks nice, but very WRONG in that picture! *shot*
Oh, and the caption under the Yami Yugi costume:

Whoever let a little girl wear that costume needs to be smacked in the head. Insted of making like an Anna costume or something, they go for Jun and her huge slit dress. I love Jun to death and I love her dress, but not on a little girl.
And that Yoh costume makes me laugh very, very hard. He has stomach muscles of mass horror.

Jun got a costume for the same reason Mai shows up on more YGO merchandise than Tea/Anzu. She's closer to the heroines you see in US-made cartoons.
Man, I saw those costumes some weeks back... Man, I should have looked for them when I went to Party City and got my wig for Faust. Best I could find was "Deluxe Classic Beauty wig" which will need a trim in back.

C'mon, you all know Al Kahn requested to have the costume like that. When he really wants to see is the Doremi girls dressed like that. (I still hope he confused them with the Winx or MewMews) It's really something to think how things have changed. The TMNT show I grew up watching had April in a yellow jumpsuit and now she's in baggy pants and a midriff shirt. I'm not even sure I saw midriffs in kid-targetted shows prior to Gargoyles. |
