why does the link keep screwing up? ... ah welll just copy + paste teh link I guess. I have code set up for the board that shortens links that are so freakishly long that they would stretch out the page to near infinity. Ussually it works, everyonce in a while, it does something slightly odd. The easy way to prevent this would be to learn to use the UBB tags . Like soIt's pretty easy, just press "quote" and you can see what I did there . Oh, and yes, those Yoh costumes are a mixture of creepy and funny. It's like the designers never even LOOKED at the character art. I mean, anime Yoh is actually really skinny. (Part of his appeal ^^. ) And yeah, that Jun costume is slightly inapropriate. But... I would love to own a dress like that ^^. If only for the nifty dragon and panda.

Eh, it's more creepy than cool. But if you're into scary Halloween costumes, there you go.
For Ren's, just to be stupid, they should have a voice changer. Because British accents are the best when fake (and done by a character supposed to be Chinese).

Not only did I not see kids in them, I didn't even find them in stores.
I guess America doesn't love Mankin... D=

Nope. Mankin is one of those shows you like, but can't bring yourself to dress up as a character from it, because you'll have someone being all "isn't Zeke cool?" And that would make me cry.
Seriously (not that I wasn't entirely), I didn't see anyone, I didn't see them in stores, and I didn't hear anyone mention them in real life. Shame, really(?).

Cosplay-wise, I've seen maybe two Mankin characters in all the cons I've been to in the past 18 months. PMX 04, none. AnimeNext 04, none. Ani-Magic, a Faust. Metrocon, a Yoh one of the days. Long Beach Con, nothing. (Although I turned out to be the sole Luffy in a sea of EGLs and Ed Elric's there)
I'm in the midst of a Faust costume that will be ready for the next con I go to... didn't quite make a Halloween deadline. I think I might make another Mankin costume. I mean, I have a pink wig which could work for Tamao (and Beauty and Sakura and...), but I'm still thinking it over. I do like how Mankin characters tend to dress in a mix of traditional and modern clothes.

It's amazing! They actually sell Mankin costumes! Really crappy ones, but ones nonetheless! Personally I would just make my own. I did not see any Mankin costumes, or any other costumes from a manga, so next year, me and BHHF and Sakara were planning to be either the Hanagumi or a group in Naruto.

As long as we can make the costumes, anyway. Kanna's is pretty easy...If we go as the Hanagumi, I get to be Mari >P
