What if it was a shojo rather then shonen? o.o

This was mention in the 'Anna's Past Life' thread and Innle and Drave made so points about it I noticed:

Not to say I'd like if it were a shoujo, but if it meant Takei would do some serious character development, I'd be all for it..... I think his art style is grand, but a bit crouded at times. I prefer open, airier art. If you've ever read anything by Naked Ape, their manga is usually extremely clean, with little detail. Not necessarily shoujo, just....clean.

Yoh could work as the main character. Anna's established that she's a capable female character already, so there wouldn't be a need for that, I don't think X3...

...but if it were going to include male/male relationships, I'd be expecting some good Marco/Lys...

But yeah,Marco/Lyserg would be a great realtionship to write more on if it was shojo.Also RyuxLyserg would be SO cute! ;D

I rather see more background stories to some of the characters,truth be told.Takei doesn't really explain a lot of his charries sometimes.

It seems that this shojo would be mostly yaoi.o;o

Hmm....Shaman king for shojos instead of shonens....I'd like it any other way. But there seems to be more Female shaman king fans then Male shaman king fans so I don't think it would really change anything with the viewers or the buyers or the fans. But a ton of the Male fans would probably be dissapointed because haman king is for girls.

Word on that character development thing. We know next to nothing about most of the X-LAWS, aside from their full names and military backgrounds... Marco is the only X-LAW that doesn't HAVE a last name D=. I assume, it's not given in the fanbook.... I'd kill for some more development of them.

Heh, Marco only has one in fanfiction, I guess XD. I'm not sure what's changed between the first fanbook and the rest of the series, but he's the only X-LAW without a full name. He's just listed as 'Marco'. I've taken care to get the translations of the rest of these as good as I possibly can:

I've checked and confirmed all except Larch's name....had trouble with that one X3. The rest are accurate.

Denbat/Meene is canon. So that would eventually make her.....Meene Denbat? I'm glad they were killed off before they got a chance to marry.... what an unfortunate name that would've been... and...wow. This really got off-topic XD. Maybe this belongs in the Random Info thread.

@drave:In one RPG I had with Nev, we made it that Ryu's parents had died early and my theroy was that his father died when Ryu was 5-ish and then his mother died when he was in middle school and Ryu had normal hair but hated it after his mother died because he looked like his mother so that because his pompadour.XD

@drave - Really, it said somewhere that Denbat/Meene was canon? I honestly just threw them together because they were both minor characters and I wanted to give them some attention. I think I'm the first person who mentioned it anywhere in the english fanbase (unfortunately, my old X-Laws shrine is long gone, but that's the first place I saw it).
