Well more shaman king anime would be nice only if they stuck closer to the manga, but if you are suggesting an animatied mini-series of Funbari no uta, hell yeah, I would go for that. (if only the shaman king manga hadn't been axed.)

sadly, there won't be another series. It's good and all, but not very popular and the manga is much better.

ditto ssteiny. if SK 2 can be as good as the original, which would be difficult to produce without a manga basis, then tat'd be great. more likely tho, would be like an entire filler series. i see not much in a new SK series more than arcs tat we had in the middle of the original SK (on the way to Patch village, there were all those filler eps)

Well, Toei's ending Zatch Bell next month for a new season of Digimon. And I have little doubt that show's come back as a result of the toys still being sold in the US and the later movies finally airing on US tv with good ratings. So I'd say, there has to be a big fanbase in Japan, the US or both. I'm sorry, but a continuing timeslot on Euro's 4Ktv is probably not enough these days.

That said... I'd love more Mankin but I can't see it happening.

Eh, I voted "no" because I don't see the point in more Mankin.
The ending basically wrapped everything up (regardless of TEH BLINKING ORACLE BELL. Which is only a half second scene that people make WAY too much a big deal of.)

And well... If I want Intentionally inapropriately timed humor mixed with mythological/supernatural theme I'll just play the Shadow Hearts series of video games .

Anyways, I emerge from lurking to say... yeah, I would like another series, but only to add to the mythos, cause it is really impressive in my eyes, and, Shaman King is awesome XP. However, if we got something like the Yu-Gi-Oh movie out of it, it's better off staying as it is. Besides, the English manga is gonna take about three years to finish, if not four. That is plenty of time to still have fun playing around with the story in my view. People still like DBZ and such even after years of being off the air, so although SK has a way smaller fanbase than Dragonball, I wouldn't be worried about the fanbase dissapearing completely.

Besides, I like smaller fanbases anyways...

SH3 even has Rio's voice actor Sean Schemmell playing... a mexican meriachi named "Ricardo" (who's obviously based off of Antonio Bandarez XD.)
The voice he uses for Ricardo is less over-the-top than Rio simply because Ricardo is a more serious character. But it's still kind of cool.
