I was wondering what voice actors would be used if Hikaru no Go was dubbed.
I imagine Hikaru Shindo's voice as being similar to Ash Ketchum's in my mind, so I would choose Veronica Taylor to do Hikaru.
I haven't seen the insei people yet in the manga, so I don't know what their personalities are like.

For the older student in the Go club (forgot his name... I haven't watched the show since June, and I only got to episode 13), I can see Dave Wittenberg pulling his voice off quite well.
Amanda Winn Lee would make a great Akari. She's already proven that she can play a part so that it's both excitable and active, as well as sullen and quiet.
Brianne Siddall could play Hikaru quite accurately, I believe, also.
I'll figure out more later.

well, since IMO 4kids is monopolizing Shonen Jump, I think 4kids will get Hikaru no Go, so:
Hikaru- probably Veronica Taylor (she'd do well for his
voice)
Akari- I'll bet my spirit ally (if I had one ;D) it'll be
Racheal Lillis
Tetsuo- Eric Stuart
Fujiwara no Sai- whoever does Amidamaru's voice in
the dub Shaman King (I dunno), or Dan Green

Does Sai ever do anything REALLY manly?If not then I'd say that 4kids would simply make him a girl and call it a day......- -;..........
