I wonder what Itako no Anna was about? How many pics and things of Itako no Anna were shown in the Sep. 2003 issue of Shonen Jump? There was only about two pics from the series in that issue of Jump. One of which I modified and colored for the comparisons index page. Here's a black and white image that I modified a bit and took the background out of.Now, the Shaman King Nation message boards had some information (and pics) about the Itako no Anna comic, but the site has been down for the past week or so 0_o. Um, from what I remember of that discussion, Itako no Anna was a short story (series?) that won Hiroyuki Takei one of his first awards. The comic can be found apparently at the end of the third (and last) book of Butsu Zone (one of Takei's other series). The story, apparently, was sort of a precursor to Shaman King. ANNA is the person who willingly gets possesed by spirits and using that power does... erm... awesome things. In fact it's said that Yoh himself actually makes his first apperance in this series. It should be noted however that Shaman King isn't a sequel. It just uses some of the same characters. Also, it seems that Takei likes to put Anna in a lot of his series in general ^^; . Now, mind you, my info could be wrong. I'm just sort of repeating things I've heard. There's a posiblity that my brain might of added extra things, so take all of this with a grain of salt.
