I have an idea that I want to share with Viz. Honest to god, I will buy this version of Case Closed if Viz goes along with it. A few points:
* Use Japanese character names (Shin'ichi Kudo NOT Jimmy Kudo)
* However, use the English "Junior Detective League" instead of "Detective Boys", as the former is better English considering that one, and later, two girls are part of the group.
* The gadgets used by Conan may be consistently named with the English anime
* Have a page before the actual manga (it can be titled "But I thought his name was Jimmy!") which explains the Japanese names and their pronunciations. In addition, use footnotes to pinpoint English names of characters in the manga.
I like what Viz has done with Yu-Gi-Oh!, and I hope to see a similar arrangement with Gosho Aoyama's most famous work.
