Viz seems like it plans to release Volumes 8 and beyond as "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist" According to his: aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=18743They are gonna keep using the Japanese names of the characters, or at least Yugi himself, while they will use the U.S. name for Maxamillion Pegasus, known in the Japanese versions as "Pegasus J. Crawford".

Pegasus was the coolest villan I have ever seen. I loved his fruity english VA. It fit his personality I think. The way he laughed at almost everything was great!!

This anime has gotten EXTREMELY dark lately. It is good to see yugioh becoming evil like he was in the first season of the original. The on that never aired in the U.S.
I have become a fan of the show again.

Well, here's another thing to hate Viz over. I don't actually read/watch YuGiOh, but name changes like this make me fearful for the future of Shaman King .

whoo~ My country doesn't have comics, so I can't say anything to Viz.
This has to do with the anime actually, lately, I've noticed the animation in Yu-Gi-Oh...sloppy? I don't think thats a good word for it...but it just looks weird. Everyone's ears are have the size of their faces, and their hair looks like it's about to attack someone....o_0

Write to them to ensure that the original Japanese gets kept. There's always the possibility the post was a mistake and that they will end up using the original name for him.

It makes it better. Dartz is kinda creepy but hey, so was Pegasus. I wish I had been into anime, before Yu-gi-oh got licensed in America, then I could have seen the originals.

I can't watch the new series because I don't have the channel, but my friend basically tells me how deformed the characters get...and always watches it instead of Shaman King.... But she likes the new series, which I have noticed is the only one with a name change. 'Doma' or 'Doom' has been changed to 'Waking the Dragon' which I have no clue what that has to do with the series...

It's to do with Yuugi, Kaiba and Jounouchi waking the the three legendary dragons, Timaeus, Helmos and Critias. And that's not true. The Noa arc and Alcatraz arc were named "Enter the Shadow Realm", which was very annoying.

Yes. They never entered the shadow realm. They only entered a computer simulation, and Alcatraz.
Oh and Noah and Len have the same VA. I know it!!! Noah doesn't have the british accent either. So Lenny is faking his!!
If anyone watched this weekend I have a comment (spoilers):
The way that Weevil and Rex's duels ended were both very dark. The way that Joey saw no choice but to defeat Rex and the way that Yami just kept on bashing Weevil even after his life points had run out. I have to credit Weevil for being extremely evil with the part when he tore up his own monster card making Yami believe it was a special card to help Yugi. Yami's voice after that part was so AWESOME!! I mean Weevil really pissed him off!!

But, Atem/Yami/Yami Yuugi kinda went crazy on all of his mentions of Yuugi. Have you ever seen his "AIBOU! AIBOU!" scenes?

No I haven't seen those scenes. At least I don't think so. I'm not really up to date on the original series or the character names for that matter.
spoiler *I knew it was the joke with the gokibore card that set Yami off, but man I was loving every minute of it. "This just isn't your day!!! Another Monster Card!!!!!!
