Actually even though Viz owns the rights to Inu Yasha, the dubbing is done by a Canadian studio called "Ocean".

Doraemon might not be airing on TV. And when I saw the Doraemon entry, the name of the protagonist still says, "Nobita". And it appears Mirmo is for young kids, so it's no surprise that names get changed and the like. All of ShoPro's shows except for InuYasha are intended for young children in the United States. InuYasha in the states is intended for teens. Viz does InuYasha.ShoPro is Viz's sister company. And they haven't even released any details on Doraemon barely. They haven't even said who's voicing who or when it will air on tv.They've licensed Selfish Fairy Mirumo de Pon(which they renamed Mirmo www.mirmo-zibang .com),Monkey Turn, and Konjiki no Gash Bell(renamed Zatch Bell and airing on CN this spring).ShPro's dubs have some of the worst soundtracks. They are really cheesy and are reused repeatedly used in all of their series. They are also responsible for Monster Rancher.Whoever dubbed Flint the Time Detective and Mon Colle Knights(Saban) also suck.

Just because an anime is licensed for the U.S., doesn't mean it has to be aired on television. Tons of anime series and movies are often released directly to DVD or VHS in the U.S.

I don't know about Digimon, but Duel Masters was dubbed by "Plastic Cow" (resurie aint joking about that name, they really must smoke pot...) did any one noticed that Duel Master is sooo similar to Yu-Gi-Oh? when i first watched it i thought the maker of duel master COPIED Yu-Gi-Oh. maybe its just me... i have no idea but this just bothers me...
