Plus, the animation is just...weird...@_@. It seems the animators couldn't figure out if they wanted to use 2D or 3D animation, so they decided to just use both! somebody out there understands me!! *cries a tear of joy * some anime can pull of CG graphics and 2D animation really well. Kirby is NOT one of them.

i don't like how it switches on anf off like that. i like how they look in good old fashion 2D.

Yeah, and there's no plausible reason for the switch! In one scene Escargoon is flat and in the next scene he's 3D. Next thing you know they switch between CG animation and 2D right while the characters are speaking. It's so strange.
And the whole "Showing Seasons 1 and 2 as a cartoon in Season 3" was one of the reasons that I wasn't very fond of Season 3. But it cannot compare to the crap that was Season 4. Ugh.

I'm still the only one that liked season three the best. Oh well. I just couldn't get into Kirby. It had it's moments, but I don't like a cartoon where you can quit watching it for a month's worth of episodes and come back and not even miss anything. The plot is a lot like pokemon's sometimes. I mean they get lost all the time! and it takes like 15 filler episodes before they actually get to where they are going. Voice-Over: Ash and friends are still lost on their way to [Insert Town Name] Town. Me: HOW CAN YOU GET LOST WITH A MAP!!!! GET A CLUE!!! Thanks!

Lol, Jr.! Pokémon does indeed get repetitive.
Ash and co. get lost on their way to [insert town]. Then they meet up with [insert generic person] who has a problem with [insert Pokémon] or [insert person]. Then Team Rocket shows up and wants to steal either Pikachu or [insert Pokémon] with [insert crazy scheme] which involves [insert odd machine]. Ash and Co. foil Team Rocket's plan and help said person with their problem. At the end of the episode Ash and Co. part ways with said person never to see them again.
It's like a mad lib! Don't they run out of names for these people? I'm sure everyone on this board shares their name or some variation of it with a generic Pokémon character. These people must have the easiest job in the world. "Okay guys, everyone write a list of names, places, Pokémon, schemes and machines and submit it to the boss. If we're lucky today, we can get off work of 9:15 am today." I'm surprised that Japanese kids haven't gotten bored to death of the show already. Someone needs to die on that show, or get pregnant, or something to make it more interesting. If Ash had caught a new Pokémon in each filler episode, he could have all the Pokémon by now. And probably some we've never even heard of.

Only 1 out of every 578 people you meet come back for a repeat performance and what's worse it's almost the same episode over again!!! ENOUGH! XO *phew I'm done now. And I would just like to direct you haters of Kirby and such to the movie I linked to in the General Board called One Piece...of crap. It displays al the "great" FoxBox shows and even has DJ Jack!!! I nearly pissed myself laughing at this.Kirby: Right back up Yours!

*looks at Pinkechidna's post* Yay! I'm not the only one who sees Pokemon like that! Hah, I agree, someone should die or get pregnant. XD That should spark Pokemon's ratings. Speaking of interesting things happening on Pokemon, do you guys know about Episode 18, I believe it was? The so called "lost episode". Oh! I'm sure you know about the seizure episode...right? o_0

The story of the seizure episode is SO funny. And because of that, I could never REALLY hate pokemon (that, and the creature designs are cute.)
For those who don't know, The Tale of the Seizure Episode:
So, a new popular anime is shown on t.v. This anime is pretty simplistic, but it's fun and it quickly becomes a big hit with the kids. This show, was called "Poket Monsters" or "Pokemon" for short.
Anyhoo, one day, an epsiode of Pokemon is broadcast to kids all over Japan that involved the flashing of really bright blue and red lights.
A LOT of kids ended up getting a seizure from this.
Oh, but it doesn't end there XD !
So, that evening, this incident of the anime and seizures is broadcast on t.v, INCLUDING THE CLIP THAT GAVE THE SEIZURES. Yep, you guessed it, a lot of adults watching the news ended up getting a seizure from this XD .
------------------------- And that's why I can't hate Pokemon XD .
The episode was re-done a bit and eventually it was shown on t.v again. Thankfully with the seizure scenes toned down. So it's safe. However, regardless, this episode was never shown in the U.S .
Any anime I think is the "worst"? Well, here's the thing, if I don't think I'll like a show, I don't watch it. Simple as that. Even the anime that I DIDN'T like I can still see some merit in them. For example DBZ, I reaaaaallly don't like it (BORING fights), but I can see why some people would. Actually, the rare sets of episodes that DON'T have fighting can actually be pretty funny (The Saiyajin-man thing.)
I also didn't like the Rayearth OAV, because it hardly made sense, but I can't deny that it was a BEUTIFULL production.
Well, that's how I feel.
Oh, and for the record (and also very much off topic), Digimon season/series 3 is my favorite out of all the Digimon seasons. I liked it BECAUSE it was different. And also, in the Digimon series, my favorite moments were when everyone was in "the real world" so Digimon 3 filled my desire to see more of that (that, and Impmon is CUTE ^_^ !) I also thought it was interesting that "Guilmon" was on the "good guy" team even though it was a "virus" type digimon.

Yeah, I try not to watch animes that I don't like, but when the kids I babysit like to watch DBZ and only DBZ I'm left with few options. AKA banging my head against the wall repeatedly.
I didn't hate Season 3, it's just that I loved Season 2 so much nothing could compare to it. I did love Impmon, though. Oh, Wormmon was a virus and he was the sweetest Digimon ever!

I thought that if you never had a seizure, then that episode of Pokemon wouldn't have affected you at all, even in its original state? Oh, and I happen to like the Rayearth OVAs because it didn't make any sense. That's what makes it fun. ^^

AFAIK, the seizure eps did NOT re-air. Do you mean, "re-air" on the news or "re-air" in a changed form on t.v. Either way, it DID re-air. For the news thing, I remember hearing about it on U.S news that wasn't even anime afiliated (and a bunch of other places at the time too. This was even BEFORE Pokemon even aired in the U.S).

I thought that if you never had a seizure, then that episode of Pokemon wouldn't have affected you at all, even in its original state? You can have seizures even when you haven't had them before. It's just more serious when you've already had one. I'm not saying I had one though.

I personally think the reason for not dubbing the "Seizure Episode" is a scam. the strobe effects used in that ep. were also used in previous episodes up to said episode, but edited out in both USA and Japan. 4kids coulda done the same with this ep., but I think they didn't for the same reason I think they didn't show the Dratini ep. (they could have altered the gun)- cuz they want people to keep watching in case they show an episode with that "special super rare Pokemon". if 4kids showed all the "good stuff" in one season, they couldn't squeeze as much money out of us. in other words, it's a marketing scam.
BTW, I do not condone editing. I merely meant that if 4kids can change guns in one show, they are capable of doing it on the other anime they ruin.
