What your friends think of you and anime/manga

All my friends think I'm insane, but I say, insane is the sane way to be! lol, not really but when it comes to anime/manga, then yeah it is. I had like one friend who was into it for a while, but then her parents forbid her from watching anime, so now she thinks I'm crazy too. Poor misguided people......

I took one of my mangas to work with me to show a friend and he really seemed to like it, I would have lent it to him, but I'm truthfully not sure if I would ever see it again.

I also discovered that their was a girl who watches Shaman King as well because she recognized Yoh and the name on the manga.

I should of told her about this site. Who knows, maybe she's a memebr already.

I actully forgot to mention that as much as my brother says he hates shaman king but he writes fanfictions for it. 0____0

go figure.

I do have a friend that knows what Anime is but the only one she ever wacthed was sailor moon and that was when she was younger.

Hmm...back on topic, I just ordered my SK manga...afterward my sister and my mom started telling me things like "That's a waste of money, you should be buying clothes!"

Pfft. My sister continued by calling me a freak. Thanks for pointing out the obvious sis! XD She's your typical "is embaressed of little sister so she trys to change little sister". Pfft...go bother someone who cares about change! XP

yeah, we made a joined fiction it was removed because of script we hope to re do it soon but it may be a good long time.

My brother never called me a freak just says he hates shaman king so I'm lucky there.

My mom really dosen't care in fact she was glad on my birthday last year when all I wanted was vols 1 2 and 3 of shaman king. probaly because it was cheep. XD

Basically, all my friends are into it with me, and a fair amount of my enemys as well. There are of course, many people that look down on us, but there are so many anime lovers around here we are generally left alone.

I have lots of anime fan friends. Because I got most of them into it. Plus if I didn't, there would be no one to listen to my rants...;__; And my sister copies basicly anything I do, so yeah, she's also really into manga and anime.
But most people in my school don't, I think. Today I spent brunch yelling at random people to worship Hao's pants and Horohoro, and they thought I was crazy. (but then, I am) Maybe it's just they like manga and anime, just not my crazy rants??

I know what you mean. I walk up to random people and say:
THE PANTS or
WORSHIP THE PANTS

But, I'm lucky, because my best friend is passionate (read:obsessed) about manga and anime too. Most people, if they spot me reading manga, they'll ask/say:

"What are you reading?"
"You're weird."
"You're obsessed with that, aren't you?"

or something along the lines of:

"You insane freak."

I'm just glad no one questions me when I write fanfictions while I should be actively participating in class/ being productive.
