Let's see here......
Hao - Zeke Horo Horo - Trey Racer Ren - Lenny Honda - Triston Anzu - Tea Atem - Yami
I really only watch like two dubs, lol, so these are the two dubs that I've seen that have name changes in them. Most of you already said them, but oh well.

"Yami" originates from "Yami no Yugi", but in the manga and Japanese versions, Dark Yugi ("Yami no Yugi") is not referred to as "Yami". Let's see here...... All names come in proper Japanese order(last name first) Pokemon: Kenji -> Tracy(...isn't Tracy a girl's name?) Yugioh: Anzu -> Tea Gardener("tea" sounds...sort of...Japanese...but still) Honda -> Tristan Jounochi -> Joey(at least the two are somewhat alike :/) Yami no Yuugi ->Various things(what's wrong with translating it and calling him "Dark Yugi"? :/) YYH: Jorge ->Ogre(his name is still Jorge, but they call him "ogre" too much...) Urameshi Yusuke -> Yurameshi Yusuke(it MIGHT be a mispronouciation, but they pronouce most of the other Japanese names right...) Digimon Taichi ->Tai(why? :/) Tailomon ->Gatomon(wha?) Izumi Koushiro ->Izzy(...wha? Did they think his last name was his first name and "Americanize" it from there?) Miyako -> Yoli( I don't get most of Digimon's name changes...) Iori -> Cody(this one makes a LITTLE more sense since they tried to make it sound like an actual English name...) Pyokomon ->Yokomon(why?) Piyomon -> Biyomon(again, why?) Protomon ->Salamon(er...what?) Holy Angemon -> Magna Angemon(is the word "holy" taboo or something? What does "magna" mean, anywaY?) Ichijouji Ken -> Ken Itchyjoejee(they pronouce it so badly that I'm accusing them of having changed it)

I believe 'magna' means great. I could be wrong, so here's my logic: Magna Carta=Great Charter and Great makes a lot more sense than Charter. There ya go. #@$% Corperate America right up it's a$$.

1. His name is still spelled "Yusuke Urameshi" - they just pronounce it wrong. Urameshi Yusuke -> Yurameshi Yusuke(it MIGHT be a mispronouciation, but they pronouce most of the other Japanese names right...)

To be more specific (and I am using Western order in this) Kenji -> Tracey Sketchit (yes, "Tracy" is often a girls' name - and the pun here is horrid) Anzu Mazaki -> Téa Gardner Katsuya Jonouchi -> Joey Wheeler Yugi Mutou -> Yugi Moto (in some of the games, his last name is kept and rendered "Muto") Hiroto Honda -> Tristan Taylor Taichi Yagami -> Taichi Kamiya (nicknamed "Tai") Koushiro Izumi stays the same, but in the English he's nicknamed "Izzy" Miyako Inoue -> Yolei Inoue Iori Hida -> Cody Hida Ken's name stays the same but they pronounce it differently... :/) YYH: Jorge ->Ogre(his name is still Jorge, but they call him "ogre" too much...) T Taichi Yagami -> Taichi Kamiya *laughs* Heh, I wonder what happened there? Did they read the kanji backwords or something when translating ^^; ? Ya gami Kami Ya (Kami and Gami use the same kanji, it's just the pronounciation is different depending on the sitiuation. )

They changed a Japanese name to another Japanese name. I'm not sure if it was by accident or on purpose, but if it was on purpose, they wanted a Japanese name but they wanted one that Anglophones could more easily handle. This also happened in Digimon tamers: * Takato Matsuda -> Takato Matsuki * Ruki Makino -> Rika Nonaka *laughs* Heh, I wonder what happened there? Did they read the kanji backwords or something when translating ^^; ? Ya gami Kami Ya (Kami and Gami use the same kanji, it's just the pronounciation is different depending on the sitiuation. )

I never had a problem with the Digimon names (maybe because I didn't know the origanial names). Though I didn't like the Yu-Gi-Oh! names (dub ones, I mean).

I'm glad Viz was able to use the original names in the manga Also, unless the F-Zero names were done by Nintendo, I can safely say that 4Kids must have an obsession with the name "Wheeler" - Katsuya Jonouchi -> Joey Wheeler Shizuka Kawai -> Serenity Wheeler Ryu Suzaku (F-Zero character) -> Rick Wheeler I never had a problem with the Digimon names (maybe because I didn't know the origanial names). Though I didn't like the Yu-Gi-Oh! names (dub ones, I mean).

Since Nintendo has the names of F-Zero GX, 4Kids had no choice to but to keep the names. Have you noticed the Pokemon names? None of them have been changed from the games.
Edit: by the way, I don't know the F-Zero cartoon/anime (which is it?)'s name because I haven't seen it.

There is one - In the orange Islands episodes, "Lorelei" is referred to as "Prima". The anime is called "F-Zero GP Legend" and it is on the FoxBox.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the Prima name.
I think I thought it was called F-Zero GX because of the name of one of the video games.
