Personally I would have liked to see him as Zabuza, but if it's a West Coast dub that won't happen. Sigh. He could have done something about halfway between Kaiba and Marco, and it would have been great....

I haven't seen more than five minutes of the Japanese Naruto... but on the voice actors...

I also don't mind Lillis as Pirika. I think it fits well.

As far as Luffy's VA, Erica Schroeder... she's not Naruto.

I also dislike her voice-acting as Luffy, but like Lovely-sama said, it's the result of poor directing.
Let's not forget that she also voices Lyserg on Shaman King, and portays his character quite well. She also does Kino, Macchi, and Li-Li La-La, whose voices I haven't noticed many objections to, other than "'Pumpkin Dumpkin' raped my ears!" <StrawberryInu-san> XDDD

Any way, I'm happy as long as Steven Jay Blum/ David Lucas plays as Kakashi... and as long as they don't stick Usopp's dub voice on Naruto or Rock Lee.

I don't really think that Dave Wittenberg will fit for Kakashi... just listen to either Sora from .hack//Sign or Jiro from Kikaider and then stick their voices on Kakashi and you'll see what I mean.

Regardless, I have faith in the dub, The LA studios ussually have good directors. And hey, even if I don't like it, it's going to get an uncut bilingual release anyways.

I'm hoping I'll actually like the show though after all this hype. What I've read of the manga and the little I've seen of the show itself never really impressed me....

She was Kolulu on Zatch Bell, I can't really recall that episode though, but Zatch Bell isn't too bad in my opinion, so it should work.

Not Kakashi, but at least we know he IS gonna be in the show. And that Zabuza is gonna kick some serious ass!

I know this guy was Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2. I just hope Iruka dosen't sound like pansie....or a pansie playing tough guy....

Wow, there DO seem to be alot of newcomers. Still, I'll be confident that Viz knows EXACTLY what anime they're dealing with. As Lovely stated, theres gonna be uncut releases (in boxsets no less) plus, It appears that the original music is gonna be used on TV.

Nope! Maile Flanagan is a fairly experienced VA, only thing is, she's never done an anime before, however, she has voiced non-anime, but animated shows.

The voice for Naruto is nothing like what dub Luffy sounds like, so fear not, Narutards! I'm really looking forward to this dub.
