Anyone read this? The manga's getting interesting around Chapter 51, with all the freaky stuff that's happening. *** With Ed, Ling, and Envy inside Gluttony, who is apparently a fake Door of Truth. I hope we find out what all this is supposed to mean...I know it's straying from the anime, but I didn't see the last episodes.
And of course Envy's true form. Seeing as I'm an Envy fangirl, I have to say it's rather odd. But it's okay. *** Ay, the English release is doing a pretty good job too.

It's, like, the same thing as the anime.
Two brothers try to bring their mother back from the dead, fail miserably, and one is saddled with a mechanical arm and leg, and the other had his soul sealed inside a suit of armor.
Lots of stuff happens, it's ongoing.

I haven't gotten my hands on the manga yet, but I've been watching the anime and I'd say that it's an excellent series myself.
But if that's truly what's going on in the manga currently... that sounds strange. -Course, not being a fan of the homunculi, I hope Envy's true form is really really ugly.-[/sub]
*sigh*I want to read the manga though...[/color]

Course, not being a fan of the homunculi, I hope Envy's true form is really really ugly. ****** Trust me, it is... I even had respect for Envy before it was revealed, he's gradually re-gained my respect in recent chapters though.******

You mean to tell me that his telling Marcoh about how foolish Hughes was before he (Hughes) died, did not turn you off from his character? And then his actions in last week's ep. Envy can not be redeemed at this point.
Has anyone read chapter 53 yet? Awesome chapter, a must read.

Envy can not be redeemed at this point. Has anyone read chapter 53 yet? Awesome chapter, a must read. Well, Envy was just stating the facts. Hughes couldn't keep his own head, and Envy shot him. Nothing to it. Plus, that's a part of what made the character of Envy so cool. The extreme "badass" side, not a care in the world. And besides, Envy did nothing comparable to what Wrath said to Mustang about humans. ***** "Brigadier General Hughes' daughter, what was her name? There's never been anything so noisy during a funeral service. That angered me very much." - Wrath***** Ah chapter 53 *** Ed sees Al's body! I really liked this chapter, hopefully we'll see more of this kind of stuff in the near future. Also, the military is splitting up! Bradley is shipping everyone away from each other, and keeping Hawkeye under close watch. I wonder what's going to happen there? How will Ed tell Al that he found his soulless body? So many questions to be answered. I can't wait for chapter 54.***

What would Wrath know about that?
Though having seen the dub version of that scene, its true, its true.
Same here (about chapter 54). I wish FMA was weekly. Someone pointed out to me that like a year went by before chapters 15 and 16 events were told to Ed and Al (in chapter 33ish).

I thought you were too because of the whole Envy Talking to Marco thing (I thought you were talking about Ch. 49) Either way, it doesn't matter.

I was talking about the manga before Wrath came up. The Wrath thing confused me I think. When you were talking about manga Wrath, I was thinking anime Wrath?
I remember that line. And does have a certain truth to it when you think about the dub version of the scene.

Where the hell are you still finding scanlations? I thought everyone had stopped because it had gotten liscensed!
Not that you should tell me or anything. I should be a good little girl and wait for the legal release to catch up.
So, Throes... was it still eleven, or is she differing on that even?

Just stating what I know from the anime, but -- Wrath wasn't at Hughes' funeral service. (Which wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for our *sarcasm* good buddy Envy */sarcasm*, but.) He was still on the island waiting to be discovered. Unless Sloth told him later or something... --

Unless Sloth told him later or something... --Throes was talking about * Bradley, who is Wrath in the manga and Pride in the anime, and since this thread is about the manga, he was using the right sin for our good friend, Ultimate Eye.* Luckily, I found a scanslation site that has all the chapters of Fullmetal Alchemist up (excluding 41-43, when * Hohenheim and Ed have a "fun" reunion*), so I have an inkling of what's going on. Nothing to add now, though..... EDIT: Oh shit, there was probably a reason why everyone was spoiler-coloring everything, but I colored it all now.
