Can someone, anyone tell me why this show has an EI logo appear during the opening theme.
Now I do believe that EI still stands for "Educational Informational" which I am sorry this show is a far cry from either.
I mean I have seen enough of this series to know that this show will never teach you anything. I haven't tried but "Fireus put outus" does not sound like any spell I've ever heard of to put out a fire.

i don't even want to touch that show with a 4 foot pole.
it kinda reminds me of power rangers and totaly spies all in one.

It may not be so bad if the had a little better VAs. If they could maybe have only one girl and not like 15 have the valley girl accent then the show might be tolerable.
I still can't figure out the EI rating: does it stand for "Everything Idiotic"?

I really hate it when cartoon/anime characters have valley girl accents cuz I'm from California and it stereotypes me. I, like, totally don't talk that way, fer real! *pops gum* no, seriously, I don't talk like that or know anyone who does. and if they're gonna aim a show at girls, I wish they'd make it a little more interesting.  |

Actually it seems that only one has the valley girl accent. The other girls have their own equally horrendous slang that they use for the most part of the episode.

What a deep plot. I still think that there should actually be something remotely educational to merit the EI logo.
SK is much more educational than that crap show. Like this week I learned about Rio's rule of thumb! ;D

I did see some of the last episode and one of the pixies has realized she is a princess and an heir to a fortune. *coughharrypottercough* It's bad enough you have sub-par animation and your VA's suck. But now you're ripping off another series. Get real. EI my ass! |

I thought this show was gonna be good, but then I saw it and it was awful. It's just about a bunch of girls walking around, blowing stuff up and saying, "hey! Let's like totally go to the mall!" Sorry can't stand this show.

Oh the theme song is right up there with cardcaptors with how much they repeat the title in the song.
I'm not even going to try to count how many times they say Winx.

Lol, I can't stand that show. I've never watched all of it. I set my alarm 5 minutes early so I can be coherent for Sonic X, so I end up seeing the last 5 minutes of Winx. I am so sick of every show constantly portraying that negative girl sterotype. Good lord! Yes I am a girl, and I have a brain. I don't want to watch girls on cartoons talk like this...the faint of heart and faint of patience may want to skip this dialogue.
"Like oh my God! I am so totally going to the mall! Gadzooks has this totally killer sale! Totally totally! Oh my god, WITCHES! Transform, Sun and Moon Pixie Power! *We are the Winx, we are the Winx* "Like, okay, don't touch my hair. You are so totally going down! *She attacks, lot and lots of pink explosions* I totally won! Like, lets go scope out the hottie guys at the school next door! Like, kids, isn't this totally, edum....edacatin.....edu....learnerific!"
Not refective of girls at all. No wonder boys think girls are all a bunch of braindead, easy, airheads. I've got to tell the kids networks to respect females.
