i funny: kid with glasses: its a hologram, very Princess Lea. -------(and this one just made me crack up XD and i swear to you this was one of the lines) Kentaro: the key you had just lets you in, this one is an all access pass, it allows you to go anywhere in the temple. Shobu: what is this? P. Diddy's place? Duel Masters makes me sick. Yuugiouu on the other hand, does not. Even the English Dub of Yuugiouu is better than duel masters. Sitting through a lesson of French with my evil witch French teacher would be better than duel masters. In conclusion-Yuugiouu=good. Duel masters=Bad
(For anyone who didn't know, Yuugiouu is Yu-gi-oh)

YGO is okay, but I had to watch Duel Masters with my little brother, and let me tell you, it is bad. It literally stinks.
Can someone explain what it is they are trying to do with the show? Is it a parody or something?

Duel Monsters is too much like Yu-Gi-Oh, but it IS funny...the only problem is the DUBBING SUCKS. The voice actors don't put ANY EMOTION AT ALL in their voices. So they end up all sounding like robots.

For me, a good anime needs 3 things
1: Interesting Characters
2: An original storyline
3: Good art (not the most important)
Duel masters has none of these things.

Duel Masters is a parady show. I hate paradies. And, it has the cliched "son looking for his lost father" plotline. Also, the "Master" character was a bit overly done. In other words, he was lame. Plus the Bakura wannabe as the world champion was worse than Kaiba. He was ugly, lame, and flat.
Final note: I seriously, SERIOUSLY, hate the running joke about the runt being knocked into random, and completely unrealistic places.
On the plus side, when I saw Urn, the Purity Elemental, I was completely speakless. It was nothing I had ever seen before.

Oh!It's Duel Masters....but no matter!I like that alot!I like it much more than Yu-Gi-Oh..that sucks...I like Shobu or whatever his name is...I have a pack of trading cards and I like tto "duel" ;D

I hate Duel Masters. Not only does it insult Yuugiou (The original unedited Yuugiou is my favourite anime) but it tries to pass itself off as entertainment. If I want comedy I'll take Family Guy any day of the Year. Stupid Duel Masters.

Thats about all I like from DM, the funny referances to real life. Yep the fourth wall gets blown to smithereens with this show ;D. they also mentioned J-lo and Ben's break-up once but I cant remember the dialogue, it did have me cracking up though. Other than that the show kinda sucks, but I hate most card game anime's anyway Yugioh included so maybe I'm biased. Don't think so though.  |

No,no,no!Duel Masters is very very fun!I love it!And it doesn't copy Yu-Gi-Oh at all!In the first place,at YGO they don't have shield zones,they don't have a mana zone,the creatures are completely different etc!!!!And second...well....I like Duel Masters far more than that Yu-Gi-Oh crap!  |
