Yeah, I thought they would only do that for the first few episodes, but it looks like that is how the show will always open.

I did happen to see that knife game you mentioned TreyRacer.
Although it looked more like a fork. Perhaps an edit? I taped over it so I can't check it again. Oh, well. Guess I'll just wait for next week.

Oh, you're referring to the choking thing aren't you? That was pretty interesting. So the chop chop fruit not only prevents you from being sliced and diced, it also gives you telekenesis? Man Luffy got a pretty lame cursed fruit IMO.  (I acutally thought buggy was going to kill the guy he choked) |

It looked like from what I saw in the opening that there was another rubber man. The guy in a black suit who apparently joins Luffy seemed to stretch himself too.

Actually, there are quite a few more people we meet who ate Devil Fruit. I haven't looked at them really, since I don't want to be spoiled, but here are a few I know already.
Highlight for (big? O.o) spoilers.
Alvida eats a fruit and returns, you can see her in the opening. I think the guy with the two cigars has a power, too.
There's also a lady who joins the crew far into the series who ate a Devil Fruit. I won't tell who she is unless you want to be spoiled ^^;

They once again continue to suprise me with One Piece.
They kept Luffy pounding the Beast Breaker in the face.
Totally AWESOME too.
