in the manga I think it's a gun... man, and I actually thought this would be one of 4kids' better dubs (if there is such a thing). how could I be so blind?  |

There's a lot of viloence and gore. I'm suprised 4kids took this anime on. Just from what I have seen there is a lot of blood to edit out.
Most animes I've seen like SK are very light early in the series and get dark later.
One Piece though really seems to get to the darker stuff right away. With Shanks losing his arm and all that. It wouldn't suprise me though if it gets even darker as the series progresses.

Oh there is plenty of humor in the series but there has still have been a lot of fighting and killing. Plenty of guns and cutting with swords has already been shown.
Luffy and Zolo make a great comedy team by the way.
Well, Luffy is just plain hilarious especially when they found him sleeping at the bottom of the cliff:
"Luffy: I thought I was on top of the cliff. Weird! ;D"

Well, after watching the dub today I didn't buy the Kaya has a slingshot for a minute. Her left hand was poorly edited and I could have sworn I heard a cocking sound when she reached in her coat for it. Last I checked you didn't have to cock a slingshot.
My wife: Well how did Ussop get a slingshot when he stood up?
Me: Because Ussop always has a slingshot!!!
Not that I minded, but what the hell happened to Sham or Shem or the creepy looking green haired cat guy with the leg hair? I guess Zolo turned him to dust and he blew away. After his attack Butchy was the only one left.
DJango wants to be rid of Kuro? How sad. You schmuck!!! ;D
I can appreciate that Kuro has a stealth walk(?). Looked more like a stealth jig to me!!! Another reason to show his zebra shoes. I guess they must give him that power since I couldn't understand someone willingly wearing those things for looks.
Were Kuro's gloves always fuzzy? I didn't notice until today!
Number of times Kuro fixes his glasses: 5
Number of times they showed Zebra Shoes: (groan) I quit counting!!!
All in all a good episode, but I still couldn't get over the gun/slingshot edit. They even kept the gunlike sound effects in. When the gun hits the ground it sounds like a gun sound effect. GGGRRRAAH! If you're gonna make a huge edit like that follow through! >_<

Well I'm just glad Siam is gone! Ugh he really grossed me out!
EDIT: [rant]OH GAWD! I just remembered the one line the infuriated me the most. Courtesy of DJango: "Just look at the way he fixes his glasses....." AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! I was just working on the links page of my site when I realised that I didn't have OPU on there. So then I went to that site and looked around aaaand....
