XD! I really like the 3rd last one. Where the subs say "The fetish of human." Not because of the subtitles themselves, but Luffy just looks funny in that picture, add the subtitles, and just imagine it...XD

Who knows, just some people in Hong Kong that don't know quite enough Japanese or English.
If you want to see uncut One Piece, go with Kaizoku Fansubs. They do a good job of translating accurately, and informing the audience of Japanese cultural references and jokes that aren't easily transferred to English.

Well, Sanji's voice still sucks.... and the lolipop thing has been clinched. Loli-sucking... something was said in referance to Sanji, I was hoping they were just going to make it s white stick and not explain it....

And there was quite a bit of shoddy editing, I swear I saw a wierd distortion where Sanji's smoke used to be, although, I assume that can't be edited very easily...

There was also a scene where Sanji pulled his loli out of his mouth, and it looked like he threw up a giant red chunk of wet meat on his hand. *sigh*

Again, the script translation was actually pretty good aside from that they had to change.

Poor Sanji!! What kind of a voice is that for such a great character... even his... uhh "in love" voice.. it doesn't change.. je just says stuff... This Ruins Him

Am I exagerating? NO! They have put a horrible voice... Kind of like Chibi-Zoro's voice.. exept this one is gona stay... FOR EVER

Yeah, I got up 2 hours earlier just to see what Sanji's voice would be like...

I was hideously disappointed. I wanted to puke.

I made another video clip. This time it's not because of something that was majorly cut or censored, it's just Sanji's love speech to Nami is done so much better by Hiroaki Hirata. Also, you can see that Chef Zeff's comment to Sanji at the end was much more negative and not all sugar-coated like "aw, go follow your dream, kid".

Also note: The jazzy music in the background is sort of like Sanji's theme music. They played some sort of cheesy samba music in the dub. XD

BTW, don't know if you saw the news, but One Piece is going to start showing on Toonami in May. The sad thing is that most likely it will just be the same old 4Kids One Piece O' Crap.

I have yet to hear Sanji's dub voice, but I have heard that as you

all say that it is incredibly lame. That said, I have yet to watch the

4Kids version of One Piece, being a faithful watcher of the

Japanese version, but I still feel sorry for those who are force to

deal with the lame conversion to the American market. And as it

stands, the show probably will not get a decent dvd release

either, if the Shaman King dvds are any notion as to what One

Piece's future will hold.

Hmm, I agree and disagree with you on that one. I disagree because I think the Shaman King Uncut DVD with the correct story and dubbing were great! But, I agree with you on account of the horrible delay for Vol. 3 and the lack of bonus features.

Let's hope they get it together and release a decent One Piece Uncut DVD.
