Yeah its more like...  IN PIECES!!! ;DAnd I actually thought that 4Krap would at least keep the orginal names to an extent. Oh well, lets just pray that "Smoker" is still "Smoker" when the manga comes around to it... |

Although, how they're gonna handle his Logia fruit powers, I'd like to know. I believe he extracts smoke from his cigars, doesn't he?

No, his cigars have nothing to do with his power. He just happens to like to smoke them.  The definition of a logia power is they can create and become the element of their power. I.E., Smoker can become pure smoke. |

Too bad, I missed the last two dub episodes, or should I say the last, what 6-8 origional episodes? I wouldn't be surprised if they do drop the licence, considering I can describe the show using a PUN! And that's that they are not keeping One Piece, one piece! If I were them I wouldn't even touch the Alabasta arc... They'd probably have somewhere around a 10 episode splice at some points... They'd also probably shorten the Chopper intro mini-arc to about 2 episodes

I know what the Logia fruits do, I just thought that Smoker extracted some of the smoke from his cigars. |

Well, he probably could extract smoke from his cigars, but they really don't create that much smoke compared to what he can do on his own.
Someone suggested that one reason they're really hurrying along with the episodes is because of the video game that's coming out. They want kids to be familiar with as many characters in the game as possible. I guess that makes some sense. Also, there have been complaints about the fights being too long. Even I have thought some of Luffy's fights drag on a bit. But that doesn't excuse all the cuts from the celebration, the crew saying goodbye, all that other stuff.

Bad news regarding uncut DVDs.
Reported from people at the 4Kids panel at AnimeNext:
"Also, as far as uncut dvds go, we got word from the voice actors that there were no dvds in production, and that there was no plan to make uncut one piece dvds. Also, the funimation rep informed us that there currently were no plans to continue the other uncut dvds, although it is still possible for them to be produced if 4kids should happen to change their minds."
Well, looks like it's going to be a while before any decent One Piece release comes out in the states.

It also looks like Kahn has the memory span of a dinosaur because in an interview he did with ANN, he stated that there would be DVDs and that they were just staggering behind the cut episodes, we all knew this was bullshit, now we have proof.

Uhm, just wondering, was anybody suprised that they kept in Gin also being called Diablo in the episode with his fight against Sanji? After all, Diablo means 'Devil'. Shoudn't that have been edited out, knowing 4Kids?

It's not like the called him a devil in chinese, or *gasp* japense! I think diablo is kinda one of those words that has lost it's mass market scare. I often here things called "The Diablo" or "The El-Diablo". Its not like they called him the Devil-man specifically.

They edit out Smoker's Chaser's cigars but they leave the smoke still coming from his mouth?
It still looks like he's smoking.
Ooh, but he's NOT smoking, or he's not supposed to be...So.....WHERE'S THE f**k IS THE SMOKE COMING FROM 4KRAP!?
Thats about as bad as the spring-loaded hammer gun.
