Haha, power juice. XD BUT...believe it or not, Luffy toasting with milk is not 4Kids fault, but Toei's. He drank milk in the Japanese version too (but not the bartender). XD Which was wierd, because he drinks alcohol for the rest of the series, just nobody really makes any deal about it. Not a bad episode. Although I found it really funny that smoker smokes without cigars. His voice is good, but he's got the same problem as Sanji in that he talks almost in a monotone and doesn't show any emotion. Tashigi seemed pretty cool as far as I can see. The part where Zolo broke her glasses came out very well. Alvida made me laugh. She still sounds like trailer trash. XD Sad that the ministory where Buggy meets Gaimon and then meets Alvida and reunites with his crew was cut, though.  |

Because he's "Chaser". XD Or you can call him "Choker" isntead. XD BTW, it looks like they're either cutting or merging more episodes again. The next episode after "The Switching of the Blades" is "Sanji Sizzles". The episode after Zoro gets his new blades is supposed to be the one where Usopp gets his new goggles and ends up in a duel with a guy named Daddy "the Father" (worst name EVER XD) and then comes Sanji's episode. So either they're cutting Usopp's episode entirely, or it's being merged with Sanji's. The fact that Sanji gets the whole title makes me think it's at least mostly being cut. Maybe there's too much guns in it for 4Kids TV.  It does have some heavy stuff in it too (There's a neat flashback with Yassop where he refuses to finish off Daddy because he finds out he has a daughter, and he basically tells him not to abandon his kid like he did). BTW, both those episodes are filler episodes, they didn't really happen in the manga. The Usopp episode is really good, though, it'll be a shame to see it cut. Usopp keeps getting the shaft. I never liked the Sanji episode, I thought it was kind of lame. |

Even though it was filler, I enjoyed Usopp's episode. Sort of developed character for both him and Yasopp. Hey Throes, that pic's funny, I could swore 4Kids HQ looked more like this.  |

Sanji's episode is a (sort of) parody of cooking competition shows. Like Iron Chef. Therefore.... I really liked that episode. Of course to be fair, I watch WAY too much Food Network....

Hey Throes, that pic's funny, I could swore 4Kids HQ looked more like this. Hey! That looks more like the 4kids licensing department, but still funny. The HQ is more likely located in Al Kahn's perfect little la-la land, where the licensing department is located in hell, where they decide to turn great anime into crap, and never release uncut DVDs... |

I knew Smoker had to have cigars. Why did they leave in the smoke? What the hell are they doing?!
Luffy sounds WAY too much like Lyserg now... I can't stand it anymore...
Hearing Luffy and Ussop singing the NAtional Anthem of America was just ...detestable..
I thought that was Alvida but I wasn't sure! I know she was the woman from those little "Buggy's Crew: After the Battle" things at the start of every chapter in the manga, but I didn't know for sure if it was Alvida until I heard that voice! Now it doens't fit her at all! XD

So far I don't have a problem with Tashigi. A little deeper than she should be, but not totally wrong.
I think the only voices I have actually liked are Gaimon and Nojiko.

Gaimon's is awesome, same with Roger and Hellmeppo's. Koby's I hate but it really does fit his character.
I never really like Nojiko's didn't sound feminine enough, sounded like a preteen boy.

I kinda like Zoro's voice. But I think thats because I'm a fan of the 'Berserk' anime, which I do suggest that everyone who isn't sqeamish oughtta watch. (Or at least the laugh-your-ass-off outtakes)

As far as VA's go, I was okay with most of them at first. Koby I couldn't stand, buyt I just couldn't stand Koby no matter how he sounded because the only part I liked about Koby was when Luffy beat the hell out of him after they beat Morgan! XD
Zoro's voice is pretty good to me!
Usopp.....please...XD
Sanji....next..>_>
Luffy....I liked it at first it was raspy but I thought it was good, but lately, it has just gone further and further south.

I also don't mind Zoro and Nami's. Nami's needs some touching up, and Zoro's is pretty decent. The actual VA's are cool people so I've heard.
