I really hope it'll turn out to not be so butchered afterall. That would be at least one saving grace for the dub. although there's not much hope in saving much of Chopper's past flashback.

I really can't give a rat's ass anymore what they do in the dub. I might as well just sit back and laugh my ass off, because unless God answers my prayers, it ain't gonna stop.

Well, the dub did get better last week, they did have Mr. 5 say "Bomb" and the only gun edits were that they were colored, mainly green...

It really would have to be a miracle from God for the dubbing situation to get better.

Well, it can't get worse, can it? I mean look at the stats, at the rate they're going, they will probably catch up to the japanese by sometime next year! Which means they will drop it before hand. I would call it, a miracle from kami-sama!

Well, like I said over at OPU, what are you going to cut next? If they only want to keep stuff that has essential plotline material (and when is say "essential" I mean in the way that they must be thinking, because I think all of it is essential) like new members joining, they could also cut out Skypiea and the Davy Back Fight, and all the fillers inbetween. Skypiea will also be a butt to edit, with so much religious symbolism. It would be seriously freaky if they skip right from Alabasta to Water 7. And Water 7 will of course be totally mamed beyond recognition.

Well, I think 4kids might (and I hope to god this) have Nico Robin say the Ponegliph revealed that Gold Roger hid One Piece in Alabasta, then the Luffy pirates take it, and the treasure is the stuff they get from Skypeia. It's just a thought, then they would finish their crap dub, and the world can go on living happliy that there was no filler arcs dub, no Jaya dub, no Skypeia dub, no G8 dub, no Davy Back Fight dub, no second round of filler arcs dub, no Water 7 dub, no Sea Train dub, no Enias Lobby dub, and no future arcs dub! But, I seriously doubt that will happen...

Yeah, hopefully at least they'll keep Skypiea. It's just that anytime I think they won't cut something because I think it's important, they seem to think otherwise. Like they could come up with another way they got treasure, and the Klabautermann thing could be flashback only (or maybe they'll change that whole scenario in Water 7 too, since it requires *gasp* serious Usopp moments!), and they might think kids don't really care about Roger and the poneglyphs anyway.

Or they could say that Crocodile has One Piece, and will give it to Luffy if Luffy beat's him in a match.

If Crocodile had One Piece, that would make him King of the Pirates already. I don't think they'd jump the gun on something like that since they have no idea what One Piece is yet.

You're welcome. ^_^ I wish they would show the side stories too. Kids deserve to know what's become of Buggy and Coby and Helmeppo. On the other hand, I wish the Japanese anime would animate the Jango/Fullbody ministory and the Ace ministory too instead of coming up with pointless fillers.
