Exactly, but since 4kids is not too big on plot, it wouldn't matter to them. Also, they'll probably make the treasure they got at Skypeia "One Piece"

Yeah, but then again, I don't think Oda wanted Usopp to be a retard with trouble speaking, instead of an aspiring hero who is getting better and better at what he wants to be. Or want Luffy to be a screechy woman...

BTW, I do like Chopper, I just found him that way, before I got to know him. I thought he was meant to be the added-in cute mascot.

Beleive me, I know what you mean, but I can imagine that there is some sort of issue of of the owner's rights involved in something as major as what One Piece actually is. There's no way they would let an oustide group be the ones to decide that.

We have to remember that it's 4kids, they'll do anything. All they care about is marketing rights, even Kahn said this. Oda never said that Yasopp gave Usopp the Log Pose; Oda never said the Laboon arc was an unimportant storyline that could be cut, yet 4kids did it anyways. 4kids doesn't give a shit about Oda, 4kids doesn't give a shit about One Piece, the only thing 4kids actually does give a shit about is money! Kahn even says this!

BTW, over at the 4kids forum, they are now censoring Kahn's name to just ****

Yes, yes, I know, but still, the difference there is that they aren't actually making a change to the manga in the future. They might not give a crap about Oda, but Shueisha and Toei DO care about the future of THEIR profits, and they aren't going to let some American company screw around with THEM.

I've only read the first book of the manga and I've only seen one of the dub episodes. I haven't watched the dub since. The dub wasn't entertaining at all.

Yeah, I saw that Kahn's name is censored on that "I'm gonna blow a hole in the 4kids building" thread. Well, here at SKU "Kahn" is a pretty f***in' bad word.

I don't think Toei is a company that considers plot changes as something that will affect their profits.

Well, hopefully, 4kids will not come up with some crap as One Piece, and maybe just say, "Luffy and his crew continued for another few years with his crew, to find One Piece, and return home." If they do this, they WILL use Eric Stuart.

Just wonderiing, did anybody see today's episode? I thought it was quite well done! It seemed unedited and all, and it was cool! And they kept in Igaram's death....I still feel sorry for him.

I found the episode funny, though! Nami's moaning was very well acted, and the mini fighting at the end when Nami grabbed both Zoro and Luffy...XD If you ask me, the One Piece dub is looking up! Maybe things won't be so bad after all! =D

It was a decent episode, as was last weeks, but as for the dub "looking up", unfortunately this is probably as good as it'll get for a while, considering the fact that they're CUTTING THE ENTIRE LITTLE GARDEN STORY ARC after next episode. That means:

No Broggy and Dorry
No Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek
No final showdown between Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine
No Luffy/Vivi bonding time
No Usopp wit and bravery (we all know how much 4Kids hates that )
No Zoro and Sanji hunting contest (I was hoping to see how they'd handle the "mine's bigger!" joke)
No cool Sanji line about the shitty restaurant (well, we knew that'd be gone anyway)

So just how are they going to say Nami got sick? The whole reason she got sick was because she got bit by a thought to be extinct bug in little garden. I see that they made it look like they got an eternal pose to Alabasta from Igaram, but originally, they lost that one, and got another one after Sanji beat up the Unluckies, when he intercepted a call from Mr. 0 in Mr. 3's wax house. I guess I see more doctored footage coming to explain these plotholes.
