Uhm, well...
...concerning SoM's, I din expect them to keep Wind, so I'm not too disappointed. And I seriously think that however bad the opening was, it was NOTHING compared to Rocks. I hate that song... >_<
...well, glad it turned out okay! But why'd they keep the regular blood, yet edit out the nose ones, is what I wanna know...>>;;

At first I wasn't too fond of Naruto's voice (never saw the original episodes so I can't compare) but I got used to it. Later on when he said "sexy" I acted like an imature 5th grader and was like "heh heh...he said sexy" then I remembered that it was Viz that did the dub and my head had a party.
When the edited the first nose bleed I thought to myself that this could not be a good sign for any of the bloody battles...lets see how those are handled.

Wow Dan, I'm sure no one here knows who Alucard is. I know who Alucard is..... ;D Anyway, I didn't watch the dub but I'm glad it seems to be handled well. Maybe now Naruto fans will stop complaining about how the dub is going to suck but I guess there will always be purists who will be disgruntled with everything dubbish. Reading all these posts actually makes me wanna try watching Naruto again. |

As soon as I saw the "TV PG" box, I had extremely high hopes for the dub. It rocked. ^_^ I can't believe they kept the Sexy no Jutsu stuff. And Naruto's girl form was cute when she was in Naruto clothes, too....and then he got beaten up. Ouch.
I don't really think cutting the nosebleeds was that bad. I think it was because most shows on CN don't have people's noses bleed. Maybe some people might have not known about what the nosebleed meant. Or maybe it was the censors. Meh, I don't care. The dub was still good.

I don't care what others say, "Rocks" is the shit. Totally. So was Haruka Kanata. I just watched the dub, and I must say, at first, Naruto's voice was somewhat annoying during long speeches, but I got used to it. (Ane yet I'm still not used to Usopp, Luffy, OR Sanji's dub voice yet...) During some parts, I was all like* : 0 0 `L `_

They had cool BGM in that part where Naruto knocked away Ebisu just as he was about to kill Iruka. Yeah, that's my favorite BGM in Naruto, It's called "The Raising Fighting Spirit." And it made that scene so badass, it's my favorite in the anime. Cool! : D By the way... Does anyone know where I can find an mp3 of this song? : D Thanks for any and all help. *bows* |

Yeah, I had a lot of jaw dropping moments, especially during the first Sexy no Jutsu. I was talking to my friend online and we said "OMG" about fifteen times.

I personally liked Naruto's dub voice; it wasn't the best in the world but it was actually pretty close to his original voice. They're both high-pitched, scratchy, and annoying.
(you have no idea how much I've wanted to say that about a dub) Um... as for other thoughts, I don't like how they edited the nosebleeds but I guess it was for the best. At least they left in all the other blood.

 OMFG! Just watched it today, and I can't say enough about it. I am officially hooked. The original BGM rocked, I immediately recognized it because it didn't suck*cough*OPDub*cough*. Got my mom to watch it, she's an anime fan from the days of Speed Racer, Astro Boy, and Princess Knight, she's hooked too. However, my brother thought it would end up like One Piece and didn't watch, so I rubbed it in his face. Overall, great stuff Viz! Keep up the great work! I couldn't care less that the original opening is gone, this is proof that you can't judge a dub by its opening!

Well, most everything has been said already.
I cannot believe I didn't catch Crispin's voice at first. although he was totally out of character compared to other characters I'm use to seeing him voice.
I too, think that fans of the origianl have NOTHING to complain about. I have not seen the original, but I can tell the dub was handled well. I did catch some digimon VA's ^_^ awesome!
I look forward to seeing how the Narutards respond to Sasuke's voice. Res, your link made me laugh so hard. Those people were going to complain no matter what was done with the dub. I didn't like the dub opening either, and Naruto's voice.....I'll get used to it. I got used to Luffy's until about halfway through the Arlong arc and then I just couldn't stand it anymore...
Can't wait until Saturday! ^_^ Now I have Naruto and FMA to look forward to!

but i agree, they should have kept the original opening and closing. but i dont think none of us here have said what out fave parts were. (minus sexy jitsu) i liked when naruto tried to make a clone of himself and the clone ended up looking sickly XD
