...As did I. This arc is what made me quit the manga v_v ... But I will persist in watching the show! If only to tick off purist Narutards .

I believe I am the anti-purist. Just about everything I watch is dubbed, save for, like, five shows.

I agree with Lovely here.. I really don't like the first main arc much at all. I'll watch though... nothing else on Fridays here... Fun to here Naruto say Believe it every 10 minutes aswell XD
Once Rock Lee shows up though... man I can't wait to here how he sounds in english XD

I cant wait till we hear gaara's and neji's voices. This episode was good, but i dont like how they pronounce jounin.

Huh, no one seems to like the Zabuza arc...
*waves 'support Zabuza' flag sadly*
But I agree, the series does get MUCH better with the start of the chuunin exams.

Huh, no one seems to like the Zabuza arc... Dude the zabuza arc is my favorite one. And after a few weeks of hearing "Believe it" i think i might shoot myself.

Since I never read this part in the manga, I thought the water was a kiusy blood edit until they revealed that it was the water clone technique. *injured* But I agree with most of the others, this episode was boring...

How faithful is the anime to the manga? Are they pretty much identical, or do they take their own paths?

How faithful is the anime to the manga? Are they pretty much identical, or do they take their own paths? For the most part they are identical. But there are slight differences. But beware of Filler... (God I need to hear Steve Blum as Kakashi)

Yah. As Throes said, they're baisically the same. Major difference, is that instead of all the endless fillers the animes going thru at this point (the japanese, not the dub, yet) the manga had a badass little backstory for Kakashi.

I think the anime's going to get to that Kakashi thing eventually, but they have to keep the fillers going until the manga gets further ahead...

i can't wait to hear kabuto's dubbed voice. if we're lucky, and naruto keeps the pace going, we'll get to hear it in january. if they give him some retarted nerd voice i'm gonna hang myself. i would LOVE IT if greg ayers did his voice. it seems to fit IMO. or hey, even crispin freeman would be a good kabuto. i agree that the eps are going pretty slow right now. but they're good none the less.
