It's episodes like that one which make me really glad that 4krap did'nt get the rights to the show. ;D
Looks like its the start of the Chunin exams next week!
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that for me, there were plenty of "OMG" moments, ***Such as when Zabuza gets stabbed with all the mercenaries' weapons, Gato getting sliced up, and alot of the talk about Hell, or at least a very close implication***

temaris like... valleygirlish (disgrace to her, to me. Seeing as her Seiyuu = my favorite seiyuu), Kankurou is no, and Gaara... hes... eh.

Alrighty.... I just had the episode air here, and well....
I don't think there were many edits to be made, but, as, well, you're probably all interested in the voices, namely of the sand genins....
Temari was good. She was different than the already established girls, but not too different to sound out of place. Compared to her original actor, AND her character, she was cast really well in my opinion.
Gaara.... his first lines sounded VERY forced. He sounds like he's an actor who is used to playing cool characters, and he is desperately trying to do the creepy thing. I'm not liking it right now. I think Gaara should sound a little lower and more feminine almost. Right now, he just sounds like an angsty young teen.... on second thought.... this could work out...
Kankorou sounds like Jack-freekin-Nickleson. It was hillarious at first. His lines even kinda seemed like it at first... wow... It was much higher than I thought it would be. I was thinking... well, lower as he's a well built guy. However, as the scene went on, as he had the most lines, I grew to like it. The voice fits the character well. From what I recall though, don't expect anything like the japanese voice....
The... 2 of Konohamaru's friends... uhm, who cares. XDDD It's not like they are gonna make or break the series. I think those are the only other new voices heard. If there are more, then, I did hear them, but, I thought I had seen the characters before. *shrugs*
Not long until Rock Lee.... then the english speaking world will change for ever.....
Overall a slow episode until Puppet boy does his stuff..... next one is pretty much the same from what I can remember. Don't worry, 2 more episodes until Gai I think.... the wait will be worth it....

I'll just have to listen for myself, But I think I might like the new voices.
On a side note, I'm actually starting to like Naruto's dubbed voice more and more.

Anyways, seeing as I thought I missed it on last Saturday, I caught it this Friday. The new voices....
Well, Kankurou still sounds creepy, but with a higher-pitched voice then his original VA. He pulled off his lines well, didn't really sound forced or anything...o-o
Temari...Temari sounds pretty accurate to her original VA. I didn't think it really sounded valleygirlish, at least, not like the Hanagumi dub voices....o-o
Gaara.....D:.....Uhm, Gaara should have sounded much more calm in the few lines that he had. It seemed forced, yes, but also sortof like the actor was struggling to maintain his voice like that and say the lines at the same time. o-o...
At the very last episode of Naruto, the Konohamaru Ninja Trio will make all the difference and save the day awesomely. O:
....Or at least, I hope they will...
But yeah, that's all I can really say, seeing as my friend forgot to return the original first 25 Episodes....v_v

well, maybe gara's VA is still getting use to the character. maybe as the series moves on, he'll do better. i mean, naruto's VA anoyed me at first but i grew to like it. gara appears tonight for me, so i'll see what you all are talking about. @ashil: That was brilliant, like True Naruto Style, but better! They even gave Neji the stoner voice, LOL! Anyways my thoughts on tonight's episode... --I was about to piss myself when I heard Naruto yell "I'm ready!!!" Friggin' Spongebob!! --"I'm sorry I'm late, I got lost on the road of life." That just might have to become my new tagline. --Concerning new voices: Konohamaru's friends: Fine. Either way I don't think that they're gonna follow us a whole lot through the whole series. Kankuro: Holy crap, he DOES sound a lot like Jack Nichalous! Not in a bad way though...actually better than I was expecting. Temari: Another good, fitting voice,nothing to complain about here. (except maybe that "local hottie" line :/) Gaara: He does seem to have the angsty teen thing goin', but he only had a few lines, so I could'nt really get good judgement on him. He sounds like he'll become even better with progession of the show though. --Asuma kept his ciggarete, and Sanji is still stuck with a lollipop, what a world we live in  Overall, a great and funny episode! Too bad we gotta wait another 7 days for the next one. |

one line kankuro said, he sounded JUST like jack nickelson. i think it was when he was talking to sasuke. and gara...cant say much on him just yet.
speaking of true naruto style, was i the only one quaoting lines from it when certain sceens came up on the anime that were on the TNS?
