Shaman King: Power of Spirit

I see a sequel in the works. There was too much left unanswered in this game.

Not so much the Zeke stuff, but Clive Portman himself doesn't really do anything.

I did finish it s91. I tried your way and it worked. Terrible ending.

Then I cleaned my disc. I have a disc cleaner and it seems to have worked. I kicked Zeobides butt bigtime and saved Meril.

My strategy. I put my characters in position so I'll defeat Heckel first with Yoh and Rio. Then I heal after the fight and let the computer go. I have Len and Rio in position so those annoying women underlings will target them. The women also drag Zerumo and Ruby into their battles so two more sages get knocked out. I have it so Yoh is the same distance from both Rio and Len so I will get to participate in both fights. I never had any problems with defeating the sages. After the opponents turn is over, all that is left are the two women underlings by Vineuvall and the two hulks on the outside.

After that I just heal and let them come to me. Vineuvall comes after me alone so Yoh and whoever (I have the option of taking Pailong, Lyserg, Rio or Len since I have them around me) and mop the floor with him.

I let everyone else take care of the flunkies and then I use an Ultrasonic Fury which hits Zeobide and Meril bigtime, and lowers Zeobides attack power, then I hit him with a spear of lightning that hurts the two of them again and nearly kills Meril. Spear of Lightning lowers defense. Then I have Yoh use a strength and defense talisman to boost his own stats and then have him battle one on one with Zeobide. The Spear of Gaeus won't touch Meril. I fight and defend to build up my special attack gauge and let him have it with a Halo Blade. By the time I used the attack, Zeobide's life bar was already yellow. I'm suprised he survived the attack. Not that it mattered. He was a piece of cake now that I could knock him down. A few jump attacks later, and it was over.

(spoiler) **I saved Meril and Clive jumps in saying that he likes Yoh and looks forward to seeing him again in the future (note the sequel hint). He even had a very evil sounding laugh. Wierd guy. I thought he was just a fruit cake. Nothing is different if you win the good or bad ending. All you get is VS. mode. I haven't tried it out yet. I can't wait.

You're talking about your first fight with Meril aren't you? I was lucky enough to face each of them one on one. I was real lucky because I thought for sure that Kanna and Matti were going to double team me.

I went after Mari first. I would go after the girls. Take out the shaman, then the spirit falls as well. HINT: FAUST!!

Ashil: Make sure you take someone into the fight with you, make sure you are fully healed, and get to know the square and x buttons very well, because jump attacks are extremely helpful.

Are you at the part where you fight Macchi, Mari, and Kanna with Meril?
Or the battle with Boris and the Hanugami?

If the answer to the first question is yes, you only need to take out Kanna.

If the answer to the second question is yes, you only need to take out Boris.

YES!!!! Oh my goodness........ okay. *clears throat

If you have another shaman form your team in the vicinity of the battling shaman then they will give you the option of taking another shaman with you. This is a must later on if you ever wish to finish this game. Lots of bosses will surround themselves so you have more than them to deal with. And in the case of the Hanagumi, you have to deal with Jack and Ashcroft as well as Kanna and Matilda.

Yes, X-button to jump and triangle as you land and you will execute the jump attack that will knock your enemy down.

I usually like to pair my shaman off later when you have like 6 or 7 friends. Your partners can at least distract the enemy while you attack. They aren't very helpful in actual battling, but they are great targets! XD

No no. Let me try again. You have Yoh, Meril, and Rio right? I think that's it. If you want to have Meril join Yoh in a fight against Mari who I believe is behind your group, then you will need Yoh and Meril to move close to Mari and make sure that Meril is right beide, in front of, or behind Yoh and have Yoh initiate combat against Mari. After you decide to use Spirit Unity or control, they will show the map again with a "2" above Meril. Selecting Meril will bring up the Spirit Unity or Control menu and you will select the fighting style for Meril.

Meril will be CPU controlled, and your partners rarely pull off any of their signature moves, but Meril can at least distract Mari so you can get some free shots on Mari. It makes fights so much easier.

Sorry if I'm not explaining this very well. I thought it was implied, but then again, I was highly anticipating this game so I knew a lot about it before it came out.

Just try to keep your shamans together. If you do that, then you will have a choice on who to have join you in battle. It's always good to have a back-up shaman waiting in the wing. XD

All of the main characters have super moves like Yoh's Halo Blade. Horo Horo has "Avalanche", Lyserg has "Big Ben Blitz", Len has "Golden Thunder" (inspired by the sword EN gives him), Faust has "Boneyard Crush", Rio has "Yamatano Orochi". I think that's it. The other shamans don't have these types of moves but do have some moves of their own. Oh, yeah Meril has a super move too, but I forget what it's called.

Meril's move is Lunatic Howl.Here are a couple of things I found for the game: TEXTTEXT After you beat the game, sit through the credits and save clear data to get versus mode. Press select on Yoh to get Hao, select on Meril to get masked kid, and select on Kanna to select a different member of the Hanagumi. ;D

Hey, I'm at the part with the 5 sages and the golem in the desert. That stupid-ass golem keeps killing me and Len, does anyone have any strategies on how to kill the golem?

In order to defeat the golem I enployed my other shamans. I threw them at the golem first. If they failed, at least they did some damage.

Your only condition for losing is if Yoh dies (barring certain situations) so everyone else can. They just won't get experience at the end of the chapter.

I sent Len and Trey at it and the two of them defeated it themselves. More power to them.

I'm really not bragging, but I beat the game without ever losing a team mate. It became an obsession.
The thing is, whenever Ren so much as stubbed his toe, I would go beserk on the opponent and get rid of them within seconds. <Unless I died....> I also noticed that on the golem levels, you don't have to fight all of the sages. I used the swiftness talismans on myself and Ren's special <it allows him a bigger moving space> and if I remember correctly, I only had to fight one sage before the golem. It didn't even get the chance to drain me. ^-^

;Dhey people i just needs some help on episode 19 when u fight against meril, i mean she keeps gaining more power, what to do? i dont get how to "persuade her" :-/when she just fights...any strategies? (dude, i think i spelt that last word wrong...strategies...lol)
