;Dhey people i just needs some help on episode 19 when u fight against meril, i mean she keeps gaining more power, what to do? i dont get how to "persuade her" :-/when she just fights...any strategies? (dude, i think i spelt that last word wrong...strategies...lol) *laughs good naturedly* Actually... it took me the longest time to notice it, but the is a "Persuade" option when you go to fight her... I think it's under the same menu as the attacking and item options... They really didn't make that clear... I ended up going at her three times before I figured it out... ^-^ Luckily, Ren didn't get injured at all during those fights... What a pain in the butt... |

now for episode...20 lol I ALMOST WON!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! *NEEDS HELP, PLEASE* I can tell you that there are two different endings... if you want the sad one, kill Meril. She doesn't actually die... but she's still in the hospital during "Morty's" end credit monologue. If you want the happy ending, with everyone full of joy and Meril not mortally wounded... you habve to beat the boss without harming her. I recomend keeping your characters in groups of two or three to take out the minions. Swiftness talismans under the item menu are helpful if they can't reach eachother. I myself couldn't get Lee-Pailong very close to anyone, so I used a strength talisman. Items like the magnitude, Burst Fruits, and Spears can help you to lower an enemies health from a distance, and I highly recomend using as many of these as you can on Zeobide without hurting Meril too badly. As a last resort, when you want to protect a character who's injured from the annoying underlings, you can use the provoke option. Ex. Lyserg is on one side of the room and has only 1/3 pof his health left. Ryu is a fair distance from Lyserg, and can therefore use the "Provoke" option to draw the opponent away from Lyserg. You can also use this on yourself, but with me, caring WAY too much for the pixelated characters.... I'd end up wasting all my magic provoking 20 enemies, and then would be too weak fighting them off. *sweatdrop* I am too attached... Sorry this was so long... I hope you'll be able to pull some good advice out of it...  |

Yoh is the only playable character and you can only play as someone else in versus mode and you have to finish the game to play versus mode. The game is long too.
