What ending/s in video games stick in your heads? For me, the ending in Ikaruga was memorable. It didn't use words to describe what was happening, so from what I could make out, the final boss disabled your guns and was going to go destroy the city. The main character then used the self-destruct button to take the boss down with him. Poor guy.  |

Two of the three endings in Suikoden II (One of them had me depressed for over a month ^^; . ) The FINAL ending of Suikoden III I won't go into further details  . Oh yeah, the ending of Xenogears was pretty awesome. The eng dubbing was way off but... it was awesomeness none-the-less. |

I agree with Lovely, Suikoden II and III ((III... **sniffsniff**))
Xenosaga I and II also, though, if only for the "WHat? WHAT!?!??! HOW DARE YOU END THE GAME LIKE THAT!!! CURSE YOU MONOLITH!!!" **throws controller** reaction they caused ((specifically II))...
Star Ocean also had a pretty memorable ending... Especially if you had Joshua and Marvel in your party and you did the Sylvalant Ruins... the special ending for that is really good... Although I wanted to see Joshua's regular ending (if he has one).

Oh, the hardest ending in Chrono Trigger, where you get to meet the directors!

Also, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne(all 6 endings of them). I actually really liked Chrono Cross's ending(the *real* one). I think that Xenosaga should go in there as well, but they are really just "To be Continued" style endings for now, anyways.
Did I mention Xenogears? Hey Lovely, what do you think of Xenogears? ^-^

I've got another one; The endings of Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 after the end credits. The screen just shows the logo and then there's a dialog (between Ocelot and Solidus in MGS1 and Snake and Otacon in MGS2) followed by a final plot twist which timed preciesly with a deep bass-drum hit  . Those were memorable  It's like, thats the sound of a "what the f**k!? " making contact with your brain. |

Even though it was kind of short, I nearly shed a tear when all your firends were getting data drained in the ending of .hack//Quarantine.
The music in that game worked so well with the scenes too.
I'm looking forward to the ending of Suiko 3 now. *goes off to play it!

The ending to Revenge of Meta Knight- Kirby Superstar.
The music was just so dynamic...... Anyways....
Mario 64 also had some good ending music, but, as for, like, ending story or whatever....
In all honesty, Sonic Adventure 2 had a pretty sad ending if you believe Shadow died, its pretty sad if you over-analise his life....

I was devastated at the end of Sonic Adventure 2! Shadow was my favorite character! Oh yeah, Pikmin. In the end, Olimar leaves the Pikmin so he can go back home. As the screen fades, a monster attacks them, and instead of being killed, the Pikmin use what they've learned from Olimar to start killing the monster. I felt so happy and........... touched!  |

I was devastated at the end of Sonic Adventure 2! Shadow was my favorite character! I found my new best friend! ^_^ Yes, that was indeed sad, but I still refuse to believe he died. Especially considering that there's going to be a new game starring him, only now he has a gun....put the gun down Shadow. Um, back on topic! The endings to Inuyasha SOCM were sad when you had to return to your own time. I also thought the ending to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was a bit sad too. Poor Mewt, I would have let him keep the world like he wanted. |

In Kingdom Hearts, when Riku is locked behind the Door, a-a-and Destiny Islands comes back, but Kairi stays there all alone....*Blows nose* I was crying the whole night I beat it!

Yeah, the ending in Kingdom Hearts was touching. In Dark Cloud 2, the poor rabbit dude dies sacrificing himself. His past just made you feel so sad for him. Magic Pengel: In the end, the coolest character(Mono) dies, the main female character gets shot(but doesn't die), and your best friends move away! |
