BATTLE! Team Mystic VS Team Gusketeers (block3)

"Whoo-hoo! Go Gusketeers! Set their butts of FIRE!" Was the chanting heard up in the stand by a Half-Demon girl, who was next to a (embarrassed) Chinese girl and an (also embarrassed...and short) Irish girl.

"Umm...Johanna-san..." said the Irish girl, who's name was Annelise which could be spelled an pronounced in a number of ways. "I don't think that their butts can excactly be set on fire...but they could try!"

"Alright..?" Johanna looked unsure, then screamed at the top of her lungs, "TRY TO SET THEIR BUTTS ON FIRE! ON FYAAAAAAAARR!!!"

[Vasuki]

“Are you sure you know what side to fight for, or are things really that small to you?”

A shadow appeared behind the unaware Irish and Chinese girls..., it suddenly vanished as soon as it appeared….

The Gusketeers had been there for days, and had set up camp in centre stage, their leader boasting to the audience who had gathered in the early morning.

“Miruna and Cory stood there aswell, although no official declaration of events had taken place, they were worried that their fearless, brave, leader shining with the light of a thousand suns would soon grace their presence.”

Miruna: “We can hear you Geo!, you are only standing a few meters behind us!”

Geo: “As the leader’s entrance had been spoiled, the young man walked up to his team mates.”

Cory: “Whats with him?”

Miruna: “I do not exactly know, he really doesn’t contact us much, I do not even know where he sleeps…”

Cory: “Seriously… in fact, I think we only saw him like twice after we met…but even then...he didn't talk in the third person....”

Geo fished along the shore of Patch Lake. He noticed how nice a place it really was… and, at this point, did not wonder how such a large lake, flourishing with life could exist in such a dessert, all he wondered, was what kind of fish existed under it’s shining blue film.

The young man casted back, and using a small amount of Furyoku, cast his lure to the other side of the lake….

Meanwhile......

"Hey Cory...is that a hook in your ear?"

Back to Geo....


“Yes! A fish!!!! Awesome! Finnaly! Vasuki, ready the spirit net, with such a spiritual village, this is sure to be some sort of mythological beast!”

“You mean the dinky aquarium net you bought at that store....…?”

And for the first time in Patch Village….

“Shut up Vas….”

As Geo began to reel in, he realized that whatever he was reeling in was under a hundred pounds, and, a really weak swimmer…..

As the object neared the shore, he realized it was not a fish, or amphibian at all, but a…

“MERMAID!!!” Geo shouted with glee.

“Master Geo, I am pretty sure this is a girl…”

“Finally, a true fairy spirit is mine!”

“Looks like she is dead master Geo….”

Geo stared at the girl with questioning eyes….

“Uhmm…. I think I should try fishing over there Vas….dead mermaids are not fun to fish for…mabey if I use a top water lure….”

Suddenly, a taller girl came running from around the other side of the lake…

“What did you do to her, you!…”

“I caught her, she is mine!” Geo responded…”

“Cory!…., didn’t you give me mouth to mouth you idiot?”

“Oooh, she is dead because she can’t breath, why didn’t you say so?”

Geo proceeds to chuck Cory back into the lake

“Vlad, get her!”

“Yes Miss Miruna”

Vlad the Impaler appeared and managed to catch Cory before she landed in the Lake.

After reviving Cory, Miruna looked around the lake….

“Hey, boy!, what have you got to say for yourself, one more minute and Cory here would be…..”

Geo had already begun fishing in another sport of the lake….

The two girls ran over

“I am like so gonna kill you for almost killing me you stupid boy!” cried Cory…

He spirit appeared and toward over Geo, who looked up, and lost all colour in his face….

“AHHH!!!, XENA!!!!”

“She…is…NOT XENA!!!” Cory yelled at Geo…. But, was attempting to run as far as he could….except…for the fact Miruna was holding him by his vest….”

The three girls began randomly yelling at Geo…

Vasuki, the Naga king spirit, and Vlad floated nearby….

“In my day, females were not nearly as hyper…, then again, us royalty probably lived in a different world, eh?”

“I impaled my enemies and placed their heads on poles to spread fear into the hearts of many” Vlad responded to Vasuki…..

Vasuki sighed……”And here I thought I would be able to get some intelligent conversation for once…

“That’s it!” cried Miruna

“For nearly killing Cory, you are going to be the leader for our Shaman team!”

“You’re a Shaman?” Geo asked?
Miruna and Cry sorta stood there…. In disbelief….

“Sorry, I thought you were just European tourists, heheh”

Geo thinks to himself

“Aw man… I am on a team with human ghosts, this sucks…. I suppose…this will not alter my plans….I hope…. *sigh*”

“Alright, I will, but on one condition, I am the team leader ok?”

“That is what we said…….you…can be the leader….” Miruna replied…

“Well, you drive a hard deal, but, if you insist, I will lead you in this Shaman Fight.” Geo said, as he posed for an invisible camera he assumed would be there...

“Miruna… are you sure... about this?” Cory asked?

“It is too late now….he is registering us..…. I hope he…knows our names….”

Miruna points toward Geo who was running toward Patch HQ…

Cory then responds.. “I guess we should follow him….”

And it was a good thing they did. Or it would have been “GeoTeam” featuring Geo the mighty, Romanian Girl, and Corydoras the Mermaid……..

Geo turned to his team..."So, who are we fighting anyways?"

"What-what was that?!" Annelise looked behind her. "Annelise-san, I think you're over reacti-" Yuting was cut off by Annelise. "No! Didn't you feel that rush of air? Th-that voice?!" Yuting looked down. "Come to think of it, I think I DID hear something...creepy..."

The three girls looked at eachother in silence.

Remembering the way they had met, Cory gave Geo a deadly look and then punched him in the face just for the pleasure of it.

Geo: 'Why did you do that for?'

Cory: 'Definitely not because you're a brave, fearless leader shining with the light of a thousend suns... Anyway we're fighting a team called the Gusketeers or something... I heard they're good but with a name like that I wouldn't be so sure...'

Geo:'What do you mean I'm not a brave, fearless leader shining with the light of a thousend suns?'

Cory and Miruna look at eachother with raised eyebrows.

Cory & Miruna: 'And he sais we're weird!'

[Mystic]

(OOC:......that was confusing! I feel left out! I didn't get what is going on but anyway...)

'Go team Mystic! You rock!!' Cory and Geo looked at Miruna in a very strange way.

'What's wrong with you?' Geo said.

'Others should encourage and yell for our team not you! You have to fight!!' Cory interrupted Geo and then turned to Geo: 'Aren't we too early? We shouldn't let the other team know we are so anxious to fight!'

'Let's go get something to eat!' miruna looked smiling at the two who turned to her in amazement: 'WE HAVE A FIGHT AND ALL YOU CAN THINK IS FOOD?' they both started screaming. People that were already there(hope I got it right if not I'm sorry......we are on the stadion, aren't we?) looked at what was going on in the stadion, thinking"This is going to be interesting!"

'..ummm...yes...I'm sorry....' tears started pooring down her cheeks....'I've just wanted....I've just wanted to....' she burst into tears and ran out the stadion.

Cory and Geo looked in the direction she left.
'I think we were to hursh on her! She doesn't get upset that easily!' Cory said looking at Geo with sad eyes. People that saw what has just happened were now stearing at those two in disapprovingly.

'Maybe we should do something! I don't want to lose this fight before it has begun because one of my team mates is missing!(just presume that will happen)' Geo said and decided both he and Cory should look for Miruna and maybe, just maybe might apologise for what he might have done though he didn't realy know what was her problem.

[Vasuki]

Geo: "Hmmm, we should go search for her....we will not be able to win otherwise.... unless..... quick! Vasuki, put on this wig!"

Vasuki: "WHA? ? where did you get THAT?"

Geo: "I don't remember..... anyways, Cory, you go look, here, take Wyrmtrex."

Wyrmtrex appears, and Cory hops on the dragon's back.

"Wyrmtrex, listen to Cory for now, unless she wants to go to the mall to buy clothes or something..."

Cory: "You actually think I would... pathetic... alright... I'll take your dragon...."

Geo: "Right, I will stall for time if the Patch show up and try and start the match, hurry and find her.... "

Geo thinks to himself... "I hope she isn't still crying... she is just... so hard to understand sometimes... but something tells me the language barrier excuse isn't gonna help me here...."

As Wyrmtrex lifted off with Cory in toe, Geo looked toward the Gusketeers encampment...

"What kind of losers set up camp in a stadium....."

He looked at one of the tents... an I love New York sticker was stuck to it.... looks like an American.... "lets see his team mates...." Geo thought....

He looked, but could not get a good enough look, so he walked closer...about six feet away he was about to try and get a look inside... but, he saw something stiched on one...no, both of the tents, an eerie reminder of the past.... a Canadian maple leaf....

Vasuki: "Master Geo... do you think they will....."

Geo: "I don't know... it is... likily I am afraid..."

Suddenly, Geo heard the Patch coming....

Geo: "They arrive!, quick, Vasuki, put on the wig!"

Vasuki: " I will not, and if you try and force me, I will..."

Geo: "No problem..."

Vasuki: "What...what..did you say?"

Geo: Ikani! Dance for the Patch!

Geo placed the long, haird wig on the mantal of his squid spirit, as it floated up and swayed in front of the Patch representatives....

Geo: "Dance mighty squid.... dance.... for the future......"

Vasuki said:

"What kind of losers set up camp in a stadium....."

Syn sits up, stretches her arms, and unzips her tent. From outside, she can hear the distinct sound, of Team Gusketeers' fearless leader cursing profusely, at the few, soggy twigs he is trying to light on fire, but to no avail...

"Marshmallows, damnit! How are we supposed to roast our marshmallows?!"

The girl sighs, before stepping out on to the stadium.

"Is Meru still sleeping?" She asks, as she takes the matchbox from Gus, and tries her hand at lighting the fire. Their leader nods, and points to a tent that bears both, the maple leaf, and the X-laws insignia.

Unable to get the flame to catch, Syn hands the matchbox back over to Gus.

On the way to Meru's tent, something catches Syn's eye...

From across the stadium, a boy -missing the other halves of his pantlegs- stands watching them, the spirit of a Naga floating nearby. Syn manages a good three seconds of eye contact.

Geo -the guy with the pears... She mutters to herself, and goes on to wonder where the rest of Team Mystic disappeared to...

At some point during Syn's reverie, Geo had dressed another of his spirits in a wig, and now had it dancing for the arriving Patch.

Having never witnessed a squid dance, and not sure she would've ever leapt for the opportunity; Syn decides that it's rude to stare, and continues on her way to her teammate's tent.

((OOC: This is horrible, AND without much of a point. ^^; *runs off to dinner* ))

Cory and Miruna were just arriving on the back of Wyrmtrex.

Cory: 'She's ok. I gave her a bar of chocolate I bought on the way from this really cool ma- *caugh* ... store... yeah, that's right from a store and I told her that you were a mean and selfish basta... a really nice person... The point is she's fine now and your spirit can take off that horrible wig... where did you get that thing anyway?'

Miruna was now in her happy place enjoying her chocolate bar...

[Vasuki]

Geo: "Heh, it is her Vasuki...." (Geo motions to Syn's position)

Vasuki: "Master?"

Geo smiles at his spirit and looks blankly into space....

Geo: "One that I missed when was cleaning the west I guess.....I really doubt she would be worthy..."

Vasuki: "Back in india, shaman's who controlled large spirits were often the most powerful."

Geo: "Perhaps... sprite... or ghost... it is still important we keep an eye on that one.... in fact.... when the match is on, try and keep an eye out every so often.... make sure it isnt harmed...by our team, or theirs...got that Vasuki?"

Vasuki: "This is not really our place master Geo, wouldn't you think that such a strong spirit would have chosen her under it's own free will?"

*A lone tear rolled down Geo's left eye*

Geo: "Hard to say Vasuki.....hard to say....... Damn, the Patches look bored..... time to pull out the big guns....."

Vasuki: "By Sesha....please, DON"T!"

*Vasuki thinks to himself...."If there are any Mexican Shaman here....Geo is gonna have to find a way to fly without Wyrmtrex....."

Geo: "Chupacabra! use the ultimate entertaining technique! Jarabe Tapatio!!!!!"

A hunched olive coloured bypedal ghost about three feet tall appeared, with a sharply turned down beak-like mouth, giant yellow eyes, spines upon it's back, and folds of skin everywhere on it's body; appeared beside Geo.

Chupacabra: *sigh*... *Glares at Geo*

Geo: *with clenched teeth* "You are going to dance, or I won't take you to the petting zoo ever again..."

The chupacabre began to unenthusiastically dance in plain sight fo the Patch members....who stood there in silence....

Vasuki: "They don't seem to like it Master...."

Geo throws a sombrero onto the creature's head for good measure.....

Just then the Patch began to clap and a few screamed with laughter as they watched attentively....

Vasuki:"..........I guess...they have a suvenir sense...."

Geo took out a pear from who knows where, and took a bite...

Geo:"Hurry up girls.... damn... I ate the sticker again...."

Minutes later Geo notices his wyvern appear on the horizon....

((OOC: unsure if Jarabe Tapatio is the true name for mexican hat dance, that is what google said though XD))

Edit: The last line ties into what TheRogue posted, I was typing as she posted...so I had to tie it up somehow....

Alicia was seated wth Akio and Minako when she spotted Geo down on the field. She had something to return to him...

"HEY GEO!" she screamed from the stands, waving his pants in the air. "I HAVE YOUR PANTS! REMEMBER, FROM A COUPLE NIGHTS AGO?! YOU ENDED UP ON TOP! WE SHOULD DO IT AGAIN SOMETIME!"

Akio, Minako and their spirits gave Alicia a "What the ****?!" look as the rest of the staduim was quiet.

[Vasuki]

Geo: "Wait....what?"

Alicia winks and throws Geo's pant partitions down to the stadium.

Geo..still very red with shock, slowly attempts to re-zip up his pants while staring up at the stand where Alicia was still smiling, and all who were around her continued to stare in silent shock....

In this state of mind however, Geo was unable to attach his pants, and as if on cue, Vasuki slithered over and attached Geo's pants for him.

Geo: "My...pants are finnaly completed...."

Miruna: "Geo, ...would you mind, explaining to your team in simple english,...What She Was Saying?!?!"

Geo: "Uhm, she was refering to that night that were flying and striking each other, I wouldn't really call it a fight though.... Oh, and then I had to put out her fires, it was annoying, but I suppose it was fun..."

Geo blushes further as he remembers being "awakened"....

"Oh, I guess...I should respond..."

Geo turned up to the stand

"Alicia! Thank you for the compliment, if I win this, will have to have another go at each other, if your team gets bored, you may invite them aswell, aslong as we still get to go one on one again!"

Akio turned to Alicia...

Akio: "Ali.....I know you told me to stop following this guy for you...but, care to explain, what the hell is going on?!"

Mina: "Ali.... that freak must have rubbed off on you, you are worrying me, are you ok?"

Alicia winked at her team mates

Ali: "Watch the dude fight guys, you might be intrigued what he can do in a tight situation."

Alicia's teamates sighed and looked at the flow murmering things to themselves. Alicia meanwhile waved at Geo, who, imediantly waved back before quickly looking away and blushing...

He then meekly adressed his team

"Now that I have my pants... we are ready, I put my faith in your Xena and Vampire allies, we shall use our mythical powers and show this team the true power of the past!"

Vasuki floated up to Geo's head and knocked Wyrmtrex out of his head again

Geo: "Damn Vas..., I was just about to say something to Alicia too....Anyways...what I said still stands guys, try your best, and if we lose, I will never see you again most likily, so, it has been fun."

Geo then grins at Miruna and Cory, who, in all honesty, were more confused than ever, and seriously lacking the leadership skills of the young shaman who had since sat down crossleged and started eating a pear....

Geo thought to himself as he rips a chunk of flesh from the fruit...

"Any time now....my first true step begins...just wait....just wait....."#nosmileys

Miruna and Cory both stared at Geo. Then they both started to smile and to sing:"Ali and Geo sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G....."

Geo looked at them embarrassed:"Shut up! Is nothing like that! We were just fighting!(OOC:correct me if I'm wrong) Your acting childishly! People are staring at you!" And so they were! Both girls stopped singing and looked around.

Cory said: "Yes, they are!" and then looked at Miruna.

Miruna:"Maybe we should go hide for a little!" then she looked at Geo "We're going....will be in the bar having a juice....". After that Miruna wispered to Cory:"No one is there as most people are already on the stadion...." and turned to Geo, smiling:"Do you want something?"

Geo looked confused and stopped eating his fruit:"..No...thanks...."

Both Miruna and Cory started to move slowly to the exit hoping no one was looking in their direction.

(OOC:When does the actual battle starts?
P.S. Just had my English final!! I know you're not interested but I don't care! I made no mistake! Ha ha! I'm smart! ;D)
